BDC summary

Ladies and gents

Firstly the BDC team would like to thanks the people that made Round 1 possible.

Bob - David Wilson for providing us with an awesome venue!

Staff;

Debbie and Shirley on the gate.
Terry, Julie and Karen in the office.
Rob, Jo and Gordon in the pits and all round helpers.
Daz and Jim on the Start line.
Dale, Mattyboi marshalling.
Pete, Paul and Julian judging.
Chunk for relying all the information on results.
Matt Crawley and Clarky for Scrutineering.
Matt Crawley for being everywhere all day when he was needed.
Paul (Japspeed) for his support behind the scenes.
The crowd who came to watch despite the torrential rain.
Plus anyone else that we may have missed of the list, there are so many people to thank.

Last by no mean least the drivers and pit crews

You guys made the event, you knew what was expected, you knew how things were going to be run, you did as you were asked, you drove like demons! The standard of driving was superb, a pleasure to watch by all concerned!

Despite the weather and a few minor issues which have been raised, the BDC is happy to have its first ever event under its belt and things can and will improve to give you as drifters the best events we can.

Thank you all for your support and commitment and we will be announcing details of round 2 next week.

The BDC team will be taking a few days to catch our breath.

We will get the results on the BDC website ASAP so please be patient.

Many thanks to all concerned

The BDC team

Deffo awesome weekend, such a good setup. Having the practice session the day before was a masterstroke as well IMO, really made the weekend worthwhile for me and i know the others who were there thought the same. Then seeing the battles the next day and amazing driving in crazy weather was inspiring, I've got so much i want to practice! For all you guys who continued to keep things running through that rain, you deserve medals!

If I qualified 15th and then got knocked out, does that mean I finish 15th? What's the points structure?
