Thumbs up BDC winners

The BDC team would like to congratulate the trophy winners from Round 1 of the Falken British Drift Championship.

Fantastic driving from all involved throughout the day with the drivers in the finals showing great skill in coping with the horrendous weather conditions.

Alexis Drew showed great skills in piloting a borrowed car on his way to victory.

Am class

1st Alexis Drew - Team RWYB
2nd Jon Stevens - Team Super Slide
3rd Gareth Manning

Shane Lynch showed that the development of the Japspeed Skyline has been worth the time and effort and rose to the challenge of the varying weather conditions.

Pro-am Class

1st Shane Lynch - Team Japspeed
2nd Louise Ridley - Skylinepart.com
3rd Antony Scott - Skylinepart.com

Best entertainer

Went to the driver who had us all sat on the edge of our seats whilst she worked her way through the top 16 battles to the finals.

Louise Ridley

Good luck to Shane at the EDC this coming weekend representing the BDC after gaining a wild card entry.

Full details are now available on British Drift Championship

Many thanks

The BDC team.

he he cheers very much It was crazy having to battle with Scotty my sponsor lol I had the most fun ever!!! I was so excited twinning and the better I was doing the more I got excited lol Every time a 1 more time was called I would jump around in my seat. I have never drifted in such bad weather and its an experience I will never forget, it made it more of a challenge I think and I enjoyed every second of it

Well done lass, I knew you could do it, we are expecting a win next round, it was mad chasing you round the 1st long right hander, I had twice the power but half the aggression/commitment, caught you on the 2nd tight right hander then straightened up, knew it was all over and just laughed all the way after that.
Top marks for giving Shane a run for his money but he drove absolutly flawlessly time after time (next time mabey)
Beaten off me team mate and a girly bah, very very proud of you gal

Baba still dont know how I didnt run in to you on the final corner on to the straight on our run, I saw you starting to go in to a right slide so I turned to your left to avoid you then your car flicked to the left straight in front, not sure if I closed my eyes but some how avoided the collision, seat of the pants stuff total addrenalin rush, magic.

Jamie (shift2drift) congrats on your 2nd in am's mate, you and Matt had us all in histerics all weekend, our drift outings just get funnier and funnier, that night club wierd shit but so much fun.

Once again thanks to all at BDC top day, you guys deserve a medal for standing out in that light shower all night lol.

Bring on round 2 (and a dry track)

Really Sorry mate.

Having Shit Loads of Toe out on the rear wheels was not helping. Car was completely not aligned and playing up bigtime.

To top it off the clutch was slipping like a bitch.

Really sorry about it though. Could have been ugly.
