Another mission of a night for me. Nearly there, just need to loop my hicas feeds round on themselves, get the handbrake assembly together and tighten some suspension bits. Then off to get aligned afterwards tomorrow. Hoping to be there tomorrow evening all being well.

Well done Polo, how fast can you swap boxes now? And why havn't you stuck to 300-350bhp? lol. At the moment, I can't see an obvious weak point in my car as long as the bleeding of everything goes to plan (never confident about coolant systems as I can't see anything, just go by bubbles and steam and shit), normally there is more than one thing that I think "that's going to be dodgy" but at the moment everything seems fairly good IMO This might be the first time I've ever had a properly working car!!!one one....I've made some progress on my uni work too, so have 3700 words and a bit more excel tinkering to do then home at about 5pm to finish off my car and pack my things ready for Jim to pick me up at 2am Yes, I'll be very tired at Llandow, especially since I'll have to try and stay awake to keep Jim company on the way down at 40mph lol. Reminds me I need to try and buy some tape cassettes to record onto for some chooooooons in the tranny van.Brrrap enough shit talking for me, time for sleep.

| -NightWalkers- ![]() | Was ready, went to go to work this morning and found a Flat tyre. More annoying than anything as the car was fully loaded ready for an early start tomorrow morning. Couldn't be arsed pumped it up at fuel station and just drove the fooker, will worry about changing it later. Hard enough loading all the shit in once without doing it again! Oh well at least its nothing major! |

What a fricking day again! thought I only had a few bits to do but I've been going since 9am and just finished! Removed all my Hicas shite with out much problems, looped the power steering pipes back on themselves. Fitted some tasty Tein drift coilovers I got from Jason Dmon (cheers dude!). I was rushing to catch the tyre shop so I could get fresh tyres put on wheels and have my alignement done. I'd put my DW adjustable arms complete set on one side, and front and rear hubs and rear coilover, after I smashed everything down one side (! long story), and the other side just the upper camber arm on the rear hoping I could get away with saving some time seeing as they seemed about the same size The camber was completely different on either side and seeing as the tyre place can only do tracking I had to stick the rest of the DW ones on. By the time I finished the tyre place had closed so I've got no tyres fitted onto spare wheels Had to do the alignement myself by sight and feel amazingly its not too horrific considering how much I've adjusted everything. Does anyone at Llandow have alignement kit?? I was going to leave today but its too late now so I'll be off at 4am ![]() Last edited by royal : 25-04-2008 at 21:49.

Use a tape measure and plumb line brrrrraaaappppapapap. Bled my brakes - they are fine so must be my spanking new rear brakes needing adjusting on the ratchet, my clutch is on the verge of needing bleeding again, coolant system I have no idea if it's bled but too late to have engine running fricking around now. My gf finished painting my interior, I sorted my pull cables, harness is mounted decent, horn appears to work, cage padding fitted (phew! last day delivery), tools packed, wheels ready, just waiting to get my homey jim junior to get here in a bit then we good to gizzo. Wonder how long my car will last before it breaks ![]()
