| Absolutely amazing day, awesome skiddings by everyone and a million hats off to the BDC crew for doing such an amazing job. Also to sweeps for letting us invent 'sweeps-jenga'! (where are the phots?!).I was very happy with my days work so much seat time in the morning that it makes competing worthwhile even if you don't get through qualifying. After a good practice, I had one good run, and then think I snapped my handbrake cable on one side when I went on the grass during the entry on the second run. Third run was when I found out I'd snapped it, and couldn't react on time on the initial entry. Pretty chuffed with my 12th or 13th place on one decent run, gives me hope I can crack qualifying with a bit more experience if I can get more consistent ![]() Amazing driving by so many people. My personal fav moment was Mikes huuuuuugggeeee Manji entry on the initial corner Can't wait to see the DVD! |

The bigger cars were struggling a little bit, but I think most drivers overcame the problems Other than that mad props go to Sweeps and Stiggy - very entertaining - ALL of the drivers for putting on such a good show - the standard of driving is immense this year - and of course to the big man upstairs for such blinding weather. Thats God, not Terry BTW ![]() Also cheers for the camping - 2 excellent nights with much laughter ![]() | |
