Thats why I was using a flick to initiate rather than wand it. But it didnt pay off coz it affected the rest of my lines and I didnt qualify

I wanna know how rubbish I am too. So look forward to the list.

I only saw your (qualifying) entries from the start line Baba, but they looked awesome to me

I decided to just stick to how I'd practised, seeing as I only really got two decent practise runs with my car running full power. I thought I'd better stick to what I knew rather than change it last minute.

And my bullet-cam ran out of batteries after my 1st run of 4 in the qualifying, so I cant even review how well I did. Ive just got an hour of footage of me doing shit and moaning at the car

well i was well gutted with my car during qualifying as an electrical issue caused my car to spin out on my last judged run and i thought i was doing well until that point.

and after getting towed back to the pits it turned out that it was a 2 min fix and i was running again

I can see where I lost points - check out the distance between my inside front wheel and the clipping point:

I thought I was right on the kerb too

Would also be interested in some feedback on my driving if you get the time

also... is this bad? ie going to far over the clipping point?

Awesome pic!

Its so difficult to get proper feedback though, coz your mates always tell you how good you did and i doubt the judges would appreciate every man and his dog asking what he/she did wrong.
I would love to find out exactly what i was doing wrong and what to do to improve though!

Obviously it doesnt matter too much in the twin battles, but on the individual runs yes technically you've missed the clipping point.

I thought they did too, I didn't stick to them too well I just concentrated on catching up/pulling away, but I thought I could have scored better if I had stuck to the clipping points (without the other driver getting the advantage)

Clipping points are for qualifying only, battle drifting is a different ball game, defensive & offensive lines required or lots of smoke to blind the opposition

PS: Sometimes the judge/s will say you must be on or within a certain line - in which case pay attention
