Hello Ben

As stated previously we are running a championship for drivers who wish to compete in a series of 6 events across the country and not compete at local events only.

The drivers who wish to compete in the whole championship therefore are given priority to book in for each round of the championship.

If we allowed local drivers to take positions in a round and take a position away from a regular driver, it could make the difference between a winning and losing the championship. The BDC will not allow this to happen.

We hope that clears up the reasons for the rules being in place.

Many thanks

The BDC team.

Hello Narcotic

If you are not a current licence holder and you attend a licencing day, you are judged on your driving ability, you would be awarded your licence for the class relivant to your driving standard.

Many thanks

I am aware of this. What I am agetting at is I do not hold a licence at the moment. Should I get a Pro licence is there any more of a chance of competing?

Is there a long reserve list fro pro? are these drivers given prioraty to run in Am if there is not enough room in Pro?

Hello narcotic

Yes, there is more chance of competing if you hold a Pro-Am licence but not a gaurentee.

The Pro class does not have a long reserve list.

The 2 classes are run independent of each other.

Many thanks

In Mike's eyes everyone is crap now he is a drift superstar! You wait till EDC, if he does well he won't even post on here anymore, professional race drivers don't post on public forums you know

Haha I'm not referring to anyone I can think of, but I remember there were like 25 pro drivers and someone has to come last I guess.

I am NOT expecting to do well at EDC at all lol.
