| his entries were impressive, but they didnt aid him as he scrubbed of too much speed which fricked it up , but fair play man big balls for that, i was gutted everytime it went bad, even if you nailed one then it would of been epic |

| I <3 BDC! ![]() | Thanks all. No footbrake entries ftw! My only problem was lack of track practice - started the day immediately with a bad misfire, then realising I had a coolant pipe split about an hour into the session and then making it back out in time just before the end of the practice meant I didn't really know the track properly. As a guide of how much drifting I actualy did, I used 2 pairs of tyres all day. Gutted. After my dabble of love making with the tyre wall, (which I bloody hope someone filmed btw) I just decided to give it death! Was properly good fun and pant shittingly scary at the same time! Foot flat to the floor in every gear to the redline, 7 grand in 3rd 95mph and pulling the handbrake. I just didn't know the track or the lines well enough to get some proper runs together, but was starting to get it on my last qualifying run. Fookin hard to get it right though. I'm much happier for not qualifying having given it 110% rather than qualifying by being a pussy and playing it safe.Anyway, coming around the last corner back to the queueing area to see all the other drivers on their knees 'ing at me was a better feeling than standing on the podium tbh. ![]() More crazy entries at Llandow to come! Can't wait.Last edited by Andy_f : 20-07-2008 at 16:45. |

| Didn't see any but have heard nothing but praise so well done look forward to the videos. Even if it didn't work for you this round you can use that as practice for the next round and next year etc, you only improve by trying new stuff so top job I know for a fact my entries could've been better but I had a reservation about my rear end jumping in the air ala Teesside, or maybe it was that when I was properly going for it my tyres popped off the rims, twice.I'm also amazed you used 2 sets of tyres, I went from 4mm > 1mm on one set, did one run on another set before one popped off the rim, then scuffed another set before one popped off the rim. Wank. |

| GRD Drift Club ![]() | I was watching your qualifying from the hill behind paddock bend Andy and me, Ant, Bizzle and Shane were all willing you on. We even stopped looking at a certain lady in the crowd's ample chest to watch your runs! It seemed that to pull those kind of entrys off however you either needed to be going even faster coming in OR moderating the handbrake a bit by pumping it on and off rather than holding it on. Or maybe even higher tyres pressures to extend the slide? |
