Teaming up with ProDrift will mean we really need to raise our game - thier level or driver skill and car prep is top notch

Shame i got miss the open again as it clashes with BMW show

Will rule that you can drop your points from one round still apply ?

How does the tie in with PD for two of the rounds effect the scoring for BDC drivers???

Concerned about hightened numbers, less chance of points etc, not to mention the possibility of reduced track time, something we know, love and expect with BDC's events.

Two day events from what i understand, BDC on the sat, PD on the sun with select BDC drivers going into PD.

Mike, ur in Derby... seriously u cant call anywhere a shithole, far less gods country, really we should do like the other gods other country and charge u to get in, but free to get out

Looking forward to the two llandow rounds in gods other country, love that track, just a shame its 8 hours away

Shame we couldnt ditch norfolk and pick up teesside again though, norfolk sucks donkeys balls.

Either way i spose ill just have to suck it up and rack up the expenses and miles, cos u gotta do em all

Yeah I guess Derby isn't the best place to critisize from

Teesside is cool but I guess it's not meant to be

IMO, norfolk is great because its about the driver more than the car, it takes real technical driving and power means nothing. The atmosphere there is also very good.

Fair enough, i hate it cos its over an hour on dodgy backroads to get to it from the mway, and its constantly blowing a fcuking sandstorm, and everything gets covered in sandy shite, plus the surface is

Geldy, if u know of airfields we can use in gods country, ffs tell us, or even better, arrange something and we will be there.

We all want somewhere with a decent track we can practice on instead of crail moon

Spear chucker/ pawbag ill take ur money if u want

Ladies and gents

To address a few of your concerns and answer a few questions:

The full details regarding the timetable for Norfolk Arena will be announced in greater detail at a later time, MJG you are correct with your assumption regarding Semi Pro drivers competing on the Saturday of the event.

As you know the BDC prides its self in offering drivers stand alone events which cater for drifting only, with this in mind the events for the 2009 calendar will see the same amount of seat time for its drivers as they experienced during 2008.

Prodrift Super Series drivers will not be competing within the BDC championship and therefore not able to score or take points from BDC drivers.

Due to the current financial climate and the possible knock-on effect to our competitors, while collating the calendar for the 2009 season we decided to run a 5 round championship to limit drivers' costs.

This was also a consideration when searching for tracks in the north. The loss of Teesside Autodrome is a great blow to drifting full stop, not only did the venue offer everything a drift event needed but its location was perfect for all northern based drivers.

Due to the fact that the championship has been reduced to 5 rounds the rule allowing a driver to drop a round has been removed for the 2009 season.

Many thanks

The BDC team.
