Hi all, Just wondering whats the best way to do it? Modified hubs vs rack spacers? Pros and cons of each? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Cheers
rack spacers:- max is 7mm otherwise the rack doesnt last long, but some people have them and they been fine. 4mm on each side is a good start, gives approx 10'' degrees extra lock, it works out as a half turn on the wheel, so it means your not on full lock all the time. Price is about £10 Hubs- These give much better lock but mixed feelings on them, wether road legal or not, as they are modified hubs which fails mot technically, alot of people use them and been fine, they are more work to install and you may need differnt brake hoses too. Price is about £110 Mintfab
Go for rack spacers for starters, then if spinning you're out because you don't have enough lock you're probably doing it wrong.
Perfect, thanks for the help. Any advice on where the best place to get spacers is or will just anything of ebay do the job?
