    Ok,

I'm trying to get the bits together to make a basic rose jointed steering column for my z4,

There's actually zero info/products on the interweb about this, I thought it was a done thing on rally car builds etc?

I'm planning on using oversize 2 x 3/4 rose joints and 19mm tube, originally I planed on solid 19mm bar but now I'm thinking that would be unnecessarily heavy, so I'm considering 19mm od 3mm cds tube , Anyone have any info on what is normally used?

I would normally use 16guage T45 in 3/4" diameter for steering columns. For any joins you can use belden joints which have very good articulation but they are not cheap!
