Has anyone else also had problems with these aftermarket rose jointed track rod ends? got a knocking noise coming from them and been told they will fail easily due to poor design Nissan Steering Arms Lock Skyline 200SX Silvia R32 R33 R34 S13 S14 S15 Drift | eBay Should i swap them for some standard rod ends? like these: M12 x 1.25mm Male-Female BALL JOINT, TRACK ROD END Thanks for input
Yes they are terrible!! Even the spl and gktech ones will where out twice as fast as stock ones! If you want some half decent non stock ones then the hardrace forged bump steer tie rods are good. Been running them for 2 months.
Thanks for the reply mate. Ive chosen to go with standard S14 rod ends on the aftermarket tie rods which should sort it out! Will post again if they break
If you run any type of rosejointed arm on a car used on road will wear out very quick in comparison to a 'standard' balljoint. If you want to run rosejoints on the road best thing for protection is the rubber dustboots and pack them with multipurpose grease.
Yeah they dont seem worth the risk anymore, just going to use standard rod ends on uprated tie rods! Thanks for the reply
