I currently have a lock out bar fitted to my r33 GTST and the question is:

Am I better keeping the bar that's fitted and just replacing the arms and ends OR do I fit the conceptual HICAS eliminator kit I have just gathering dust in the house?

I guess it depends on the state of your arms and the balljoints in the hubs. If any of the balljoints are gone then fit the kit!

Another alternative is to fit an s14 subframe, i got one for £50. Obviously there is more work involved, but i used it as an excuse to solid bush the subfame.

Well i haven't fitted mine yet but at a guess it will be:

    unbolt prop.
unbolt rear calipers and remove handbrake cables.
    unbolt shocks.
    unbolt 4 subframe bolts.
    drop subframe.

swap arms, hubs, diff and shafts (think you need toe arms off S14)

    repeat the above.

    swap
