maybe a huge change of plan...............not involving this lexus....but another!!

depending on testing...and some issues with getting the car converted, using many of the parts from the blue lex

other lex will be used

tis going to be intresting to say the least.

so the Altezza Beams engine and gearbox are now up for sale...aswell as alot of crap i bought to do the engine......ah well

in the end it was the cost of building a reliable high HP 3s-g(t)e that made it not feesable.

ill end up keeping the blue lex as a bare shell.............incase!!

So are you just gonna transfer the fuel system, custom dash and sub frame etc into the other one or just use it as it is?

Must have been a hard decision to make after all the work thats gone into it.

will transfer the dash, subframe (although the Monster has an uprated subframe) and the fuel cell etc, still deliberating on what to do regards roll cage, as the monster still has its sunroof in and i dont want to be removing the glass and roofskin as i did with the blue lex.

i dont think i need to go to the same extreams with the white car to save weight as i did with the blue car, so i may just keep the sunroof and electric windows in the car....after all, its a lex, goto have some luxury

will be at a practice day soon....to see how it runs

what do you mean by that mate.......

the sad fact is the Monster only did 1200miles last year, id rather use it.......than sell it.

it achived what it was built to do, be the first and only 1 of 3, and the only one in Europe 2jz-gte powered is200 in the world, i still think its the only one running on twins.

there really isnt anywhere further i can go with the car.....its kinda boring driving it normally on the road

well the decission has been made, and the stripdown will start after next weekend, just trying to decide if D1 and Terrys practice day is the time to test it...as it stands now, or test after the changes have been made

Test before hand, modify, test after.

Then you have the oppotunity to judge the improvements back-to-back.
