well in what seems to be my continued battle with keeping it cool, im gonna chop the bumper up and redo it.

moving the HKS oil cooler from between the intercooler/radiator, and moving the mocal power steering cooler

opening the "mouth" a little on the upper grill....

will start over the winter.........just toying with ideas, this bumper i made a couple of years ago.......and its starting to show a few scars

new bumper 07

Current design

Larger grill opening, and larger side vents, large enough for the oil coolers

its all to do with cooling now ..............

well giving it a chunkier front bumper would certainly change the sharp kind of look that the current bumper gives it

Maybe raise the bonnet towards the rear to let the heat pass up through it also?

i have plans afoot to allow air out of the engine bay......all part of the winter re-build

tis actually bullshit raising the bonnet, as it doesnt help heat escape as the base of the windscreen is a High pressure area

also need to do some digging around as over thr winter aswell as some major work i want to change all the rear end to fully adjustable

one of these will work im sure.....

and as far as the lower arm is concerned......this is a proven modification ive found, but im sure i can get something better rustled up......(note inner end of lower arm..)

but this time the winter re-build will be finished...lol

Well it can't be anyway can it surely as theres a shock mount right in the middle. Usually the ones that are adjustable whilst in place have on right hand thread rose joint and one left hand thread.

yes they would be adjustable, the outer locknuts are easily accessable the inner ones are accessable through the top of the U form that the lower arm is formed from

the threaded part of the bearing, would sit in a tight tolerance tube, loosen of the locknut, and wind in/out on the other nut to gain or lessen the lenth, then tighten up the opposit locknut

you would be locking the threaded part to the boss/tube that the threads run through

the inner bearing is screwed and locked in a threaded boss, the inner bearing doesnt need to be adjusted as if it was, its adjustment would effect the geometry of the shock absorber

well not had chance to do much lately, other than actually use the car....

so now things are quieting down , thought id pull my finger out and get some bits done.

today i removed all the fuel system that was almost installed completely in the Blue car and have relocated it in the White car.

Jesus, making up the goodridge unions is a pain in the ass, but, ......it gets quicker each time

so i got most of it in today..

need to make up the ally box for the fuel cell, and then route the lines for the fuel to the engine, and the return from the FPR, the car currently runs a HKS FPR but that will be changed to a Aeromotive one
