ok few more bits have arrived...... for those interested ![]() HKS oil temp and oil pressure, and the filter ![]() and the boost guage ![]() The Engine Damper ![]() The x2 low pressure primary delivery pumps ![]() and the x2 flanges ive had cut for the manifold....there are no off the shelf top mount turbo manifolds at all!!....well any turbo manifolds really other than those that come in complete Turbo kits for for the altezza. i had 2 cut incase anyone needs one for the future, ive ordered the manderel bent pipework to make up the manifold myself, and also awaiting the T25 flanges, so in a few weeks should be able to start fabrication.... ![]()

Thanks De. i actually like making the manifolds, its one of those things that if you do it right......it looks a work of art. i dont intend however to make it all fancy with equal length runner etc. what i am trying to find however is a company that will be able to ceramic coat it for me afterwards, that doesnt charge stoopid money for the process. so far iv been quoted £130 which isnt 2 bad........but still more than i would like to pay

| Mr Sir | Looking like you're getting all the right parts and not cutting corners anywhere along the way What are you going to have done to the headers in the way of coatings? I've used the Techline stuff that you can now buy from Camcoat, these are DIY and the people I know that have used them have had good results. If you're going to the Autosport show this year you'll be able to find a shed load of coating companies. Rob |

im hopeing to go to the show, remind me of the dates please its actually from Camcoat that i have had the quote.one of the people from Camcoat is a member on Lexus club. I was just going to send the finished manifold to them and let them get on with it.....so if there the recomended place ill go with them, they said they will triple coat the header....sounds good much better than double coated![]()

Well i eventually made it out the house, this dam broken ankle had kept me hose bound for long enough...... i decided things needed doing......so today i removed the old aluminium floor panel, and the rear bulkhead and chucked them in the bin ![]() Then i removed the sound deadening/dynamat, some black shit from hell ...ended up using the gas torch![]() ![]() The ATL fuel cell has to be mounted in a metal box, so i made a new panel for the boot floor.......with a box in it ![]() and the box.... ![]() Heres the test fit before welding it into the boot tommorow....and a test fit to make sure the fuel cell fits ![]() ![]() Around the front, i welded up any un-needed bulkhead openings.... ![]() Tommorow hopefully will finish the welding, and make the hold down straps for the fuel cell.....and then maybe tackle the sound deadening on the floor in the car ![]() Last edited by DriftLexus : 30-12-2005 at 19:25.
