did the boring job of removing the sound deadening. Also chopped the seat rail and dropped it 2 inches to lower the seat mounting points. Was a bit close to the cage with my lid on.
painted the boot with hammerite so its hard wearing.
sprayed the interior and door shuts
    [IMG]

put the cage and few other random bits back in.

Got a deal on this Haltech Sprint 500 full standalone engine management system[IMG]

    Fitted the turbo, Holset HX35.
had to make some modifications with the wastegate pipe
    [IMG]
thanks to paul at japspeed for the downpipe, looks like it could be a problem to make it all fit by the rack though :(

Thanks to Dan at Parts Shop Max (Powered By Max) for these serious alignment arms
    [IMG]

stripped the main fusebox loom, and relocated to inside the car. THe only looms running into the engine bay will be the headlight loom. and another seperate one for the Haltech.

Fuel system, surge tank, bosch 044 inline pump, walbro 255 in-tank pump, systec motorsport filter, just waiting on the fuel lines 10mm feed, 8mm return, FPR, modified ID fuel rail.

Im switching the intercooler to mid mount, so pulled the rad forward 2inches so i can get the fans in from behind
    [IMG]

designed some sub frame risers, to turn up on the lathe.

As the Haltech doesnt need the IACV unit on the plenum, i decided to make a blanking plug so i can remove it.

Had to modify the wastegate feed quite a bit. Got it sitting in the right place now, bloody tight fit though. You can also see the Haltech loom coming together. Also made a few pie cuts for the screamer pipe
    [IMG]

Just need to get the pipe bent to wrap round the wheel arch and out the wing :smokin:

Wiring in the relays and ecu to the fuse box loom.

Some progress on the engine loom
    [IMG]

Finished modifying the manifold. You can see the how much i had to move the WG pipe, to try and squeeze the Wastegate in amongst the downpipe, steering rack, and brake booster. I would have liked to make the bend smoother but its far tooo tight for space :(
    [IMG]

The elbow i made for the screamer pipe, will get the main pipe itself bent up tmrw. Also modified the oil drain for the second time.

Finished wrapping the headlight loom, need to secure it properly though.

Copper gasket ;) for the T4-T3 adaptor
    [IMG]

Finally finished the engine loom. :smokin:

Still plenty of wiring to sort out inside though :smash: :wack: You can see ive also relocated the ignitor to the inside.

Got the tension rod fitted too.

Removed the old shifter bushing, was quite suprised to see that it didnt crumble away like most seem too, fitted this Marlin Crawler urethane shifter bush.

Pulled out the old front and rear main seals
    [IMG]

You can get a rough idea, where the screamer pipe is coming out of
That pipe is a test piece to work out the angle for the pie cuts
    [IMG]

My mate made a start cleaning up the plenum. Was looking pretty brown before.

You can see how tight it is with the W/g, downpipe, rack, water pipes (cant really see in pic) finally got the right size v band. But i need to decide whether to mod the current 3"downpipe, weld the flange on and extend it slightly, or make a new one from scratch of 2.5" into 3 under the car??

Lastly i leave you with this
    [IMG]
Big thanks to my mate for doing this

Fitted the rear seal, went to put the flywheel on and realised i had no locktite left
Manifold is fully fitted now, and what a pain that was Turbo is bolted down too.
Wrapped the headlight loom with braided sleeve, Its got convolute under for extra protection. Need to pull it up a tad, but i'l sort it later.

Hopefully the last time i going to see this
    [IMG]

Ive got a new core for the flywheel, but there was plenty of meat left on the existing one, so decided to save the core when i buy a new clutch, as im using a second hand one for now.

ACT Xtreme 6 puck paddle clutch
    [IMG]

Pressure plate on, all torqued down
    [IMG]

    Lined engine up with box
    [IMG]

    Good shove and
    [IMG]

Heat wrapped some bits, going to make shields for the BMC and CMC
    [IMG]

Finally put the engine in for the last time hopefully
    [IMG]

Got a bend for the screamer pipe and a flare for the vband on the downpipe
    [IMG]

Lastly my mate finished cleaning up the plenum
    [IMG]

Random pic, will be slamming this to the floor
    [IMG]

Made the block off plate for the IACV valve
    [IMG]

The fueling is pretty much done, but this is the only pics ive got, will take some more shortly. still need to secure the pump, filter and lines down.

If you dont like wiring look away now
    [IMG]

you can see where i've moved the fuse box too, and re-wired it to work the way i want

Luckily it seems like everything works fine, engine management system is live [IMG]

Would like to plug and say thanks to those that have helped in 2009 or helping in 2010
