Guys thought we would let you know what we have been upto over the winter with our latest project.
We decided we wanted to have a go at buliding something different and the plan was to build a Hawk Eye Subaru.
Team Mechanic Jamie Morgan was asked if he wanted to build the car and gladly accepted the challenge and it has sure turned out be one of those
The project started last October and we spent the first few weeks gathering parts and planning out the build. The car arrived in November and we used a 2001 Bug Eye shell as the basis.
First job was to completely strip the shell to a bare minimum and get the full cage welded in and this was done by Peter at Fabricage who did an excellent job and turned the car around in 2 days.
The quick way to get rid of the sound deadening
Once we were happy and did not spend too much time on that jobit was time to get the cage fitted

We decided to do something slightly different in the rear so as to give something nice to look at if you opened the rear doors
