    Japspeed VH45DE Twin Turbo S15

After 3 years with the trusted RB25 it was getting very tired and time for a new challenge and Shane's constant rambling on about a V8, so it was time for the change and after lots of brainstorming and realising by putting a yank motor was the easy route as well as it being a none revy engine. So with a short list of possible V8's we could use we opted for the relatively unknown Nissan VH45DE found in the Nissan President (Q45) and keeping with the theme and true to the Nissan brand and being the first attempted conversion in Europe, with the engine boasting quad cam 4 valve per cylinder high revving engine. Considered to be like having 2 x SR20's back to back in a 90 degree V and it weighs no more than the RB

Enjoy the pics more to follow tomorrow

New engine arrived from Julian @ Garage-D (one of his many gems hidden away)

Haha, probably the best way to sum this build up.

Jeez paul, you and the guys at japspeed are putting some crazy amounts of work into your builds this year. I guess its already done though and ready for round 1? Anyway.

damn, why haven't I called Julian when I was looking for mine

what gearbox are you going to use with it, Z32/RB25 ?

take off the front cover and check if it has metal backed chain guides, plastic ones can shatter in time and clog the oil pickup, problem was eliminated on 94+ models

PS. could you PM me know how much have you paid for the engine ?

Engine sits right back up against the bulkhead

We are using the 300ZX box and using the Mazwork kit, adapter plate, engine mounts and gearbox mount

Good shit, you'd not believe how hard its been to not mention this since I first saw it a coupla months ago!

The turbo setup looked cool as fuck when I saw it, and ive not seen this for a coupla months so must look even more mint now, cant wait to see it.

Stock 1.6 pile of shat. Not 'drift ready' like all the never-drifted turbo MXgays...
