    engine spec stage 1a setup at the moment freshley rebuilt

    -cosworth metal head gasket
    -ported and polished inlet and exhaust ports
    -acl race bearings
    -lightweight flywheel

    lots more to list will put up later

    i still have a load of things to do on here yet for july

    -respray in the current black

    -electronic boost controller

    -gt2871r and external wastegate (already have just need to fit)

    -remap

    and other odd's and sods

    sweet! how difficult was the conversion? where there any clearence issues with the sump or rack or anything?

    well it isnt tuff if you know what your doing etc but yes if you got power steering in your 86 there is a issue with the sump you have to cut a section out of the sump for it to clear a pipe on the pas rack

    i didnt mod my tunnel fitted in just fine had to cut the shift section back due to the longer sr20 box though and obiousley custom mounts prop etc were made to mate the engine

    Nice project, That things gonna rip your neck off:worthy:

    I would of thought a gt2871r was to small for an external wastegate
    What wastegate & spring setup are you using?

    I'm intrested as i have a sr20det + 2871 AR.83, just still im using a gay bov:euge:

    Saqs looking good man ! i havent been down ina while wasnt expecting you to dump that in up and running that quick.. July as the target my ass lol u done it quick time good work:thumbs:
