went up to norfolk yesterday and had a good look round crackers v8, mmmmmmmmm..... and it sounds awesome. cant wait to get it running next week

WHAT A SHIT WEEK. if it could go wrong, it has gone wrong. ive basically spent a whole week taking 10 steps back.

but anyway, the poxy engine wouldnt start at all, no switch to the fuel pump, no spark, and the injectors arent working either. spent most of the week trying to trace the fault that could possibly be the crank sensor so ill order one up and try it.

still, gearbox mount is made, shifter linkage shortened just needs welding, engine is shinier, rad is sorta in, phase 1 of the rewire is done, exhaust is underway.

the exhaust. tubing weighs 2kg per metre and ive got 6 metres of tube. its 60mm OD as that was the largest i could get from my supplier.

the bonnet will not close at all by the looks of things, even with the ribs cut out i think ill still struggle which means a vent or bulge is in order which i didnt want at all, just think itll ruin the look of the car.

still, ill wait for the crank sensor to turn up and see if it starts, when it doesnt ill burn the fucking thing

Can't shorten them, the sump is already waaaay to low to the ground. It'd be ok if I raised the car but that ain't happening

Pictures hide a thousand sins lol. It's not really that clean, I could've spent a little more time and money on getting it tidied better but i keep looking at the outside thinking what's the point lol

Guess so. My engine is further back as well so I should technically have a little more room. I'm gonna wait til it's all running before refitting the bonnet. Tempted to just have certain parts coming out the bonnet
