    ^ Nope.

Due being Adrian Fluxed over of my hard earned cash I could'nt buy my gazzebo for spraying in so I'm going to be missing Awesomefest :furious:

Although I dont dare spray the base and clear coats outside in the open I thought I may as well start preping the aero and laying some high build down

Had to do a fair bit of sanding on the front bumper where it was a bit of a funky shape on the sides but it's done now:

    Boring progress is boring.

Flatted the bumper today....... my god do I need a DA sanding by hand sucks!

I might buy another bumper (possibly Navan) to rough spray at some stage because there's no way I want to keep doing this every time I smash one.

At least it's done now and really quite smooth so thats one bit done at least.

Might prime some more bits later, that way when my gazebo comes I can just get busy with the colour.

Well I went to roll the JDM arches today, started with the one I striped back to metal because I noticed a few little ripples and dings in them under the paint. My fears where soon confirmed once I started flaring and the shape just went to shit!

So £80 and a fair bit of time down the drain, not really helping me to keep any kind of enthusiasm for the car.

There was only one way to make me feel better......

Also bought and fitted a silent VVT (thank fuck!) and a BM57 BMC to go with the brakes and full abs delete that I'll be fitting asap.

Just waiting on the gazebo to turn up so I can start painting..... I hope.

DB power sell a full braided brake line kit that just deletes the abs

Not sure if they have ruined the car yet but they're certainly not want I wanted, however they are just about the cleanest and simplest front fender IMO.
They are very nice just not sure if they suit the 'look' I was after.

On a plus side the arch lip seem's alot lower than the stock wing so it looks like I'm tucking more tyre, this means I can lower the back down to where it should be too

Bang on dude. Best fiberglass I've had to be honest.

You have to drill the holes yourself but thats a good thing so you can line it up properly.

Finished at half 1 today so I'm getting busy with last adjustments and the repairs to the front wings (got them cheaper due to damage).

So this is pretty much what it will look like now (rear wing wont be that angle though)

Need bigger spacers and less camber up front now because the fittment looks weak.

Couldn't get the use of the garage for welding over the weekend so it'll have to wait untill Monday now. Untill thats done I can't paint feck all really because the bonnet, boot and rear quaters all need welding in some form or another.

Spent most of yesterday and today repairing the front wings and sorting the dents on the car.

Looking a bit sorry for itself today:

Good progress lad, a little advice though NEVER prime like that your leaving hard edges to try an feather out, as your rubbing it your gonna rub a the paint around the primer an will leave the panel wavey. tape a larger area and flick the primer out towards it don't prime to the tape much easier and less rubbing. 10/10 for effort.

    Thanks for the tip man.

I'm putting high build primer over the top though so wont that just cover it anyway?

Why prime with aerosol if your for using 2k high build?? In answer yes prob will cover it depending on what way you rub it from the current state, buy a long rubbing block and use it to remove the imperfections in these areas. Prob be hard to feel the "ring" around these primed areas but when painted you'll see them, long block is the only job to make it mint, also buy a tube of stoppers deadly job for pinholes and stonechips, it air drys pretty fast.
