Ok now I thought I should probably make a thread for this to make it easier to keep up with when things do change. As many of you will know, I swapped my 1jzR334 for this JZX90, that was owned by Jack after Mitto in Japan. So I took a trip over to Jacks unit, which coincided with his birthday, went out on the Saturday night and woke up feeling fucking terrible on the sunday ready to make the 3 hour journey back to Gloucester. Tom of team twisted was kind enough to come along to do the job. So we loaded her up, note how HUGE the car is compared to the flatbed, the largest car I think I have seen in the metal!
Now the car was home with me there was a major issue that needed addressing. The car came over from Japan minus the epic spec Mitto had been running so Jack found a clean 1JZ with R154 and some stock twin turbos to get it running. Everything was great except for some unknown reason it just wasn't making boost. This was about the point I got the car off Jack so I picked it up knowing this. After a couple of times out having a look at night time with my good friend Craig, and going through every possibility we could think of and had suggested to us (ECU limp mode, recirc valve fucked, electronics etc) We could feel that the wastegate arm of the front turbo was stuck, most probably closed. So we set about removing the turbo, pretty surprised at what we found! The wastegate arm was indeed stuck shut and so probably ran silly boost before shitting itself as above. Got in touch with Garage D and got a nice clean turbo on it's way over to me! Fitted this and went for a little drive down the road to see if we were now making boost...

Note, I did do a proper road test, it just so happens that Craig video'd me when pissing about! And also the reason I didn't keep going was the brakes desperately need bleeding so they are pretty much useless at the moment!
Other than that, have just been sorting out a few little things, took the sunstrip off for some better visibility, insured it, fitted a new battery. The car is booked in for MOT on wednesday and will hopefully be getting registered this week too! Just need to bleed the brakes refit the front bumper sort out a few little things here and there oil change fit a new HID kit I ordered properly fit the indicators and it will be good to go and hit up the road! Also bought this headunit so I have some music , POW! PS incase you were wondering about the spoiler, I have some End plates being made for it as we speak, truly badass!! In terms of plans for this year, well drive it, ALOT! But Craig has a GT35r that was making 575bhp on his 32GTR lying around. I can't resist so I'm going to slowly stockpile parts for a single turbo conversion and bang it out in a weekend along with a wing exit screamer pipe to be a proper chav. Other than that the car will get a proper paint job ASAP, as Jack just did it satin to get the car one complete colour for the time being. Still unsure of colour!

Yeah that's weird he would mention me man! But he trained Steph Birt to pierce who trained me, then I realised he was by far the most impressive apprentice i'd ever seen! So gunna let him finish uni etc and have him do my left leg sleeve!
