Got on with a few final bits before silverstone and map session tuesday.
I have been trying to sort the wiring out on my gauges for ageees and managed to sort that today after loads of trial and error and circuit testing wiring is not my strongest subject.
Hopefully there both working now as they should i wont be beaten lol.
The other thing that didnt really need to be done but i wanted to dowas get the diffuser fitted, as said i have been toying with this for ages just wanted to get my hands on one for a good price so that if it went wrong i could just shrug it off
Its got to have final touches here and there but overall im happy with it.
Had to use spacers for the brackets to lower the diffuser
Got on with chopping the bumper up
On but looking roppy with my crooked cutting lol
And the final stages stilll not perfect but its nearly there all fitted and bumper tidied up
There you have it, dont think there are many about like this so like the rareity in it too. My reasons for this before anyone asks ..... well there are a few it should expell tyre smoke pretty well, has less drag on the car and visually it looks different
I will probably me moulding a lip to the bumper to tidy it up and also spray the diffuser black
All comments welcome
looks sick![]()

That looks rather nice matt!!suits it very well!
Loving the diffuser but I think you've ruined the bumper now, might look ok in the flesh. Did you go to silverstone?
"Yeah, my cars smashed to the floor and looks baller', so I dont really give a shit"
Cheers man the diffuser actually went on quite well its really secure, the bumper is a work in progress im going to make it look better by fibreglassing a fold under flap along the bottom edge so it looks more factory moulded when i get the chance also looking for some vortex splitters for the rear edge of the diffuser
.
Didnt make it to Silverstone matewas totally gutted but due to having a few teathing problems with the car and just not getting it mapped in the end it was a no go.
The fuel pump had seemed to have lost pressure but in the end turned out to be wiring lume rubbage in the front wing, and the external gate on the turbo side of things only had 0.6 pressure spring in it, which stopped the car from being mapped on hardly any boost, so had to order a new set of Tial springs and sort lume.
Due to funds being low im now just saving for the map session ( due to paying of the holiday this year ) which should be end of this month then i want to do the Silverstone car park day as i fly out on the day of Lydden Hill open pit lane.

looking sick man diffuser looks dope suits it
if in doubt skid it out
Looks savage!!
That is sooooo low, do the front wheels catch much on lock when drifting or driving hard?
Just wondering why you have changed to a 180 front end?
Also where do you get those strut top mount tow hooks from? Look awesome and I want one!
Keep up the good work
Cheers man, I went that low on the front I had to change the tyre profile not to catch whilst drifting rather than raise a cm or 2 lol.
The tow hook I got 2nd hand but you can buy them from Driftworks shop I believe mate.
I changed the front end back to 180 as its cheaper to replace if I hit anything, I feel it looks better than the ps front anyways so I'm happy
Back bumper looks really good. Wasn't sure a first but nice
Haha I like you styledont know if I could get away with much more stretch than 225's on 9.75j's up front but want it loooowwwww
Sweet I will check the shop now although I have bought 2 TRS straps lol
Fair point mate, I like the 180 front anyway![]()
Right update time
I dont want to make a massive story of it so will give the short version. I had a fault with the car which was a lengthy diagnosis that turned about to be the fuel pump... gave the mappers plenty of time to keep the bill down and it worked thats why its been so long and had to save pennies.
During this time i had decided to put the car up forsale as just lost the bug and excitement, but as soon as i heard the car was done and the power it made i was buzzing again......
The car made 431.3bhp @ 1.2 bar which was spot on the only downside is the lag full boost by 4,700rpm, drifting requires hi revs and so i cant see this being a problem but will have to see, as its not massive boost the power delivery feels quite progressive, but like i say well see
The plan is to put the sale on hold for the moment and hit the track with it, iv got Lydden hill lined up in August and might do a pod day, just wanna get back out in it now and have some fun.
Other plans will include paint in the future but fun is def the first factor
I always woundered how people had those diffusers on, thought they was part off a certain bumper for cars, looks hella cool tho!
love the diffuser work, great work
