    Hi. Here you can follow our Passat V8 RWD project. The car is built this days and will be tryed finish this summer:)

    Car 2000 mod 1,9tdi Front weel drive.
    Engine LS1 5.7l V8 compressor 600hp
    Temtec gearbox
    BMW E39 rear weel axel.
    BMW E39 front weel axel
    Roller cage custom built for high speed licens.
    Fuelcell
    Racing seat
    H belts
    Pedal box

    Are you gonna keep it sleeper looking? From the title, I thought you were going to build it from a 4motion passat or something!

    We will keep the sleeper look for this season. Next year we will do somthing outside. 4 motion was to easy. Ho ho...... Using the good parts from BMW and powerfull engine from US car.

    Oh what manual gearbox will you be running with the 5.7? Im interested in getting one of these but it has an auto :-( thanks

    Edit: cant wait to see this out in action!

    You can use a borg & warner t56 6 speed or a tremec 5 or 6 speed that run 600+ hp whit no problems. If you think about by one, by one from USA complet whit the gearbox and fixed electronic. There is a start imobeliser that can give you a lot of problems.
