    Instant Lifestyler S14

Thought i may as well make a project thread for this seeing as i've wasted so much money on building it.

    right so lets start.

i once owned an S13 as some of you may already know. as i was told by driftworks a lifestyler car. which of course it totally was. never drifted it once in my whole life. god damm lifestyler

right so i ended up selling it on when i finished my apprenticeship and got a full time job. i'de found a very clean s14 shell so i couldn't really turn it down.

so anyway i bought it and started a new lifestyler build on it. the shell was good but the engine was fucked so first thing was to get that sorted. now when it comes to car i really can't be arsed doing any work on them unless it involves lowering them. so i had it taken to Driftgarage and Mitch to have all the work carried out.

bar the cage this is how it looked when i got it.

i may as well show you lot the build in the form of pictures i have because its a little long winded. basically i didn't want to cut any corners with the car so therefore i didnt need to do anything to it once it was done. so spend all my earning each month drift........sorry lifestyling in it.

then i decided seeing as i'de spent so much on the car i may as well get a full blown instant lifestyler kit for it and get it painted

    test fitted

    wheels painted

car painted in lifestyler purple done by Adam S on here (Adam Simmons) done a quality job of it for a VERY good price!

ill get some decent pics up when its back home. not really had the chance to upload many.

i'll also update the spec list when i get chance. its rather long.

    enjoi.

If you smack it with a hammer all over then it just comes off as 1 big piece. Then use petrol and a rag to clean the little bit left off.

I did mine in the winter months so it was nice and frozen. Alternatively if you want to do it in the summer freeze it with a fire extinguisher.

Nice car dude. Lifestyler purple is that a trademark?

    Yep it's my own trademark

I just find other colours boring and you don't see many purple cars on the road so why not.

Hitting sound deadening with a hammer +1. I accidentally discovered that and it worked so fucking well!

I think the adjustable-everything rear end is excessive and the roll cage.... But whatever, it's you having to wait to drift it. I hope Adam has got plenty of purple left over asthma summer at Buxton is going to be HARDCORE.

When in doubt - clutch kick.

Purple car, blue wheels? This is madness.
I like those front wings. Does anyone else over here have them, not really seen much?

They're the magic ones that vent out hot exhaust gasses from your inner wing area, built up by the side repeaters.

Mike yeh I guess it is but I'm aiming to do Malory a lot so a cage would be nice and the adjustable arms didn't cost all that much. I don't intend on being a pussy in the car so I'm sure the Buxton wall will be treated to some purple paint at some point I do also have a nice idea for the next shell when this ones fucked.

Should be pretty bright being purple with blue wheels. Should be quite on top seeing as it's also going to be my daily driver.

Oh the wings are supermade wings. They go with the kit. Look alright I recon. Not sure they let exhaust gasses out but they don't look too bad

Congratulations on starting the thread with the most times "lifestyler" is used on Driftworks hah.

I like it, it'll be pretty cool and is obviosuly well kitted with the footwork. You should get circuit sports headlight covers and dmax style rear lights

    cheers hudson.

yeh its pretty much just a lifestyler car really. same as the old 13. never gonna replace the tyres like

don't really see the point in spending big money on lights seeing as i'm only going to smash them up. atleast you can zip tie up fibreglass.

car is being delivered to a unit near me on sunday so its very nearly there. just need to tub the front and back arches, lower it some more, lights in, MOT, TAX and alignment. oh and get them wheels on too.
