So, the last 200 is nearing the end of its life...

    currently sits like this,

    had some awesome fun times

Now started to break her for parts :euge:

so I went on the hunt for a nice, clean s-body.

As many know... Went to view a ps13- chatted to the lad for a few days, everything sounded fine, so got on the train to Devon...
on arrival there was a few issues...
Which was ok but one "minor" issue... the engine was knocking its arse off so that was out the question and lost me a fair few quid in traveling expenses. :(

So carried on the search and found this little jem on here, cheers benli

Its a imported (in 2008) 1997 200sx kouki (s14a) with genuine factory fitted aero.

    Manual
    kuro black
full cusco coilover around with apex top mounts,
    nismo F/R struct brace,
    hks oil cap
    blitz rad cap,
    nismo exhaust
    sparco 17" alloys..
    nardi steering wheel
    cat 1 alarm

Shell is mint no damage to the sills  completely solid with very light surface rust... thats it :D paint work is great for a 15 year old black car!

Found the car to have polybushed rear subframe so that saves to a job  and climate control which still works... well for now...

Also no abs... Saves me another job :)

    hellaflush :wack::D

    really tidy interior:

down side... its a n/a

then was informed that the skirts and front splitter are g-reddy gracer :smokin:

    Plan is:
rob the stage 2a sr20det engine running gear etc from the s13 ;) grabbed a s14 engine loom off GDUK (legends... some times i do wonder why I hunt the for sale section high and low when i could just give these guys a call :smash: ) ready so i just play and play... hopefully :o

do some foot work (being a non turbo- I need to 5 lug it so my grids can fit...)
Z32 brakes all round and BMC then some tein rods and ends, 4 arm alignment kit and probably some new coilovers... oh and not forgetting the 3.9 or 4.1 welded diff I have sittting here :)

    Looks...
    zenki rear bumper,
    shotgun exhaust,
    the bronze rota grids,
    lower it,
probably remove the kouki spoiler, and in doing so fit a roof spoiler...

So, yesterday jay and his bro Ryan came down to give me a hand with the sr20 swap.

First we took the engine and gearbox out of a mates old Silvia zenki s14, then removed the n/a from the kouki

Used the nismo copper mix clutch and flywheel found on the engine :)

Also found the n/a stock engine mounts was pretty perished, lucky was planning on swapping them anyway as I had a set of nismo engine mounts and gearbox mount laying around :D

Due to no hole saw, and me knowing the car wasn't going to be driven for a little while I built up some custom Intercooler pipe work just so we could start her!

Removed the aircon, and as it was out to get to the Ecu loom, removed the matrix for the aircon... Fair bit of weight in it!!

    All this unneeded rubbish :)

Also stuck a good condition alloy rad in, retain the viscous fan set up thou Ofcourse :)

Then went to start her, turns over but didn't start.

Fuel pump wasn't priming. :( and couldn't turn the wipes off! Lol so just unplugged the motor for now.
noticed the f4 plug wire was different, although it plug straight in.

So, last night looked at the Sr into a s13 guide and Rb25 into a s14/s14a... Now looks pretty clear what needs sorting, only a few wire :)

    cheers mate :)

so, been investigating wiring this in. Im a tight arse and refuse to pay someone to do it :wack: :indiff: :ghey: plus its a learning curve!

So found lots of info, wiring diagrams/pinouts of the F4 plugs etc

go down there to go for it, only to find I was looking at the pinout of the F4 plug for a UK S14 and a zenki engine loom is different :(

so searched the oz/New Zealand 200sx forums and think I got it sorted now. :)

oh, and also you would think the car loom was the same (M60) but its different, cant find a lot of info on it :annoyed: but multimeter held the answers to this.

hopefully have her running within the next few days!! :D
