    Team 307 RB26 s14.5

Its time to post up some progress of my s14 build "Yes another s14"

When it comes to drifting im very much un-known ive done about 4 years of building setting up and competing in this car.
Ive wanted to build a comp drift car for a lot of years now and am finaly in the position to go for it. I am not a mechanic, fabricator or an engine tuner but im hoping to show that with a bit of back ground and a lot of ambition i can build a awsome drift machine. I will also be using lots of ideas from other peoples build pages.

Any advice you can give of if you spot anything i could be doing better just post a comment. If your in the aberdeen area drop me a comment as well.

Right it starts with a 23 hour drive down to gloucestershire and back to pick up the car

Adam was and wasn't happy to let it go at the same time

The RB20 box was nackered. wasn't going to handle what i had planed for it anyway

When i sorted everything out i was left with

First things first got to finish buildiing the garage

You might notice i have no lights! i will struggle away in the dark for the next few weeks!

    Progress

The car hase to go back to bair metal

Anyone know what this is? think its the alarm controler

Cheif mechanic lee trying to look like he know what hes doing!

Before i go any further i decided to fit the rb25 box i got from a sound guy in dunfermlin sorry can't remeber your name. i used the dkyline gearbox mount and moved it back about 2 inches the engine and box is realy far back and as low as itl go

First the difference between the to gearboxes

    The two props

    Flanges are the same

    out with the rb26

Tril fit of the rb25 box

    Mount fabricated

The constant struggle with sound deadning

    Still more to come out

Sized up for custom one piece shaft

    Droped the sub frame out

Out with the fuel tank was blody heavy had half a tank in it.

    Clean under hear

Slow progress im afraid keep any eye out for this build

That is the sensitivity controller for the internal alarm sensors.

    Lozza asked earlier.

Alright dude, welcome along. There's loads of folk in the Aberdeen area with more s-bodies per population head than anywhere else in Scotland by a long shot. There's plenty of knowledge up here if you need any help or advice. We all meet up once a month for food or a piss up etc around Aberdeen. You'll have to get yourself along. There's also various night time activities that I'll explain in person.

If you need any help with painting, fibreglass parts , kevlar/carbon stuff....or just a hand in general with mechanical crap gimme a shout. I have too much spare time on my hands and I'm only up in the broch.

Fuk maaaan you have gone all out! If that was any lighter it would fly, even with 10j wheels it was sketchy so your gonna need a poo bag attached to the driver seat

I see my pikey brake mods are still in lol

Did you still want the front arb?

Ha yea and im about to cut the boot and the arches out so its going to be ultra light. Don't wory about the ARB im thinking about a custom one and it comes with the mounts so don't worry about it
