I've spent the last two days, screwing, polishing, grinding, welding, painting and cleaning! but she is done!

there a few small things left to do before monday but its pretty much there i can finally relax a little

well thats until i put the new engine in then the fun starts all over again haha. here some pics sorry about the quality i'll get the camera out on a nice day and get some good ones.

after a good clean i will be very happy

just have to save my pennies.. then the next stage is an SR20DET, AE lower arms and suspension, RX7 brakes, a Corona rear diff with LSD, bucket seats, I'm going to have to get bigger wheels once the brakes go on. ill get it all together and just throw it at it

but for the time being I'm chuffed!

It pretty much looks like the work isn't over, so the plans are>>
1. get the engine running so its not back firing and running smoothly.]
2. get that chassis sorted.
3. get the car relatively standard.
4. paint the under carriage and all the running gear.
5. get some wheels for roadworthy.
6. have the car ready for for the 15th April for Vic Drift at Winton Raceway!

Ive got alot of work ahead of me but hey, theres already a shit load behind me :P

Hows it all going Mr Ben?? Any updates yet mate? SSSHHH is dead at the mo with an alternator problem so in the process of sorting that!! Plans keep changing as well just need to make my bloody mind up and get cracking!!

Hey Dude, well at the moment I'm saving to come back to the uk for a month, because of my visa I'm in a sticky one i can only work in one place for 6 months and i have to find a new job ASAP!! ill be back the end of june

then by the time i get back to the uk ill have some money sorted for the sr20 covnserion! probably going to set me back 5k for AE running gear, engine, exhaust, seats, engineers certificate, rear diff, wheels etc etc.. i have been doing alot of research and it seems relatively easy, the major part work being, having the prop customised and custom engine mounts the rest is pretty simple. i have decided on wheels also because the rx7 brakes are sooo big lol i have to go with 15s now my current wheels will become prized ornaments unless i get a nice offer for them :P heres the wheels..

they won't stay white the lip will but ill get the centre sprayed

one of the guys here is buying an s13 and dosnt want the sr20det in it, its a black top ill check it out that might be my motor. so all thumbs just have to play the waiting and saving game

All sounds good man, change the filter and put stockies on it and take it somewhere else, 90% or second hand cars in AUS have crushed rails from jacking. Guys sounds like an absolute TOSS! good luck with it and ill keep following

well i have had some dramatic idea changes over the last couple of months, one of the guys has an drift damaged Ae that has an Sr20det with r31 gearbox and r31 rear diff with custom tailshaft and shit loads of custom alloy links for the rear (well the rear end is pretty much custom) so the plan is to stuff all that love into the KE and have it going/drifting for the summer. work will commence from august time as I'm heading back to the uk for a month. took the animal for a spin to see what i had in store once its in the ke and frankly it scared the shit out of me! so much power in a tiny car! lol things will be interesting once i get to winton for the first time!

oh forgot to mention full running gear, roll cage, new rims, exhaust, and fuel delivery system as well. should be a bolt on situation just a shit load of stripping down of two cars and put it back together haha so stoked and i can't wait!

Well.... i have finally found out what the front wheels are... i dont know if this is a good thing.. but it seems that the front "star" wheels are not work equip 01s at all, they are SSR Superstars... never seen them or heard of them before (well SSR yes but not the wheel). But i was shown this page and clearly they are >> Wheel Guide – S » RatDat.com hope this helps anyone
