OKOKOK
got my roof lip fitted
sorted a vac leak on the line to the external wastegate,
the braided hose busted inside, replaced it with a hard line bit of copper tubing with hoses at each end..
noticed the turbo return line into the sump was leaking a tad, sealed that up.
set about loading up for lydden ect and this was how it went
(photo credits to who took them!!! not my own work!)
had a good day, but half way through the hose popped off the wastegate so was only running actuator pressure so wasnt running full power.. but still was enough.
tried a few different techniques, and still have allot to learn but thats what the days all about so pretty chuffed!
now found my feed and the return off of the turbo is weeping and needs sorting and the hose off the WG sorting![]()
You putting the old dmax bonnet on??

and solid objects are on my list to avoid!
also
found my feel and return lines were still leaking after lydden so started to strip down so i could do a decent job as couldnt get a socket/spanner on the bolts
everything looked spot on
all re-sealed,
and christ i had the BIGGEST ballache getting the fucking big circlip back on to hold the compressor housing to the turbine housing.... GRRR
and gave her a wash! so much rubber stuck to it... was a bit hard to budge..
and also fitted the wind deflectors i got off the crash damaged one i got a while ago!
freebies so wicked!

Those deflectors are dope maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang. car looks so nice clean!!!![]()
Lol, HX35 compressor housing circlips are a CUNT to get on and off arent they!
I have a way though, that gets em on n off first time in a couple of mins. Took a long time of swearing and skinned knuckles to work it out though!
The latest JZX90 incarnation is badass mate, good work
;D im pretty chuffed :P
cheers stav, and christ did i swear.... in the end was a combination of grips and skinny long nose pliers and luck.... kind of want to do it again to pollish up the housing :B
