Nice build.
Is the motor solid mounted, as i'd be concerned about the intercooler pipe cracking due to flex? That said your a talented fabriactor so im sure it will be good !

The engine sits on nismo mounts and with a damper.
The intercooler is hanging in a dampend bar, plus the silicone hoes at the ends.. It shouldnt crack, but we will see![]()
Thanks for the comment!![]()
Coming togheter now!
How it hangs :-)
Can't wait to drive this thing!!
That was Mitchs car, did help him build that years ago. was a solid car.

Ahh! Cool.
Yeah, it WAS.. Untill the past couple of owners here in Norway trashed it.. But i'm trying to get it up to spec again!![]()
Yeah!
Dynoed it today! 405whp and 447wnm!
What a car!! So many inspirational s-bodies on here lately
Thanks!i was acctually wrong about the nm. It was 467nm at the hubs.
450hp and 510nm in the engine. Cant wait to try it out!!
loving the fab work, Nice power too, must be that cold dense norweigan air![]()
Looks ace! But what is budget about an RPS13 with 450BHP? lol! Sweet car man.
Thanks for the nice replies guys!
The fab work is ok, but i wish id done things diffrently. Im not satisfied, but it works!
Its budget for me anyways, have had to cheap in on a few parts, but it has potential! Going to build a new gearbox setup now. With a 3l m3 gearbox and so on![]()
killer stuff there man. our regulations in sa wont lets us chop like that
but big ups man some neat work there![]()
The police would do the same to my head if i had driven this thing on the streets! Its a pure track car this..
Yesterday i stayed up late to machine out a new instrumentpanel, as my old one looked like shit..
Learning a friend of mine some basic machining..
Everythings straight for a change! Milled out so that the fusebox sticks through..
Starting to look like a comfy home now!
Well, unfortunatly the first map i did wasnt so good. The tuner have made several mistakes, causing the car to break the rockerarms.. Fixed it once, thought i had fixed the map problem but no.. Broke one more, and the exhaust cam.
Thankfully it wasnt HKS 264 cams, so they where cheap to replace!
Oh wait, no. It was hks cams.. Well, trew them away and mounted stock cams. Went to remap, and the car now only has 348whp and 385wnm.. But it works! Thank god..
Here at this years first Gatebil! So satisfied with how the car drives now! Such an easy car to learn drifting with!
Had to buy me a new trailer now, cause the car is so low.. Damn exhaust!
This is from wednesday! We held a charity day to raise money for an orginizaiton here in Norway, such a cool day!
Next up? More lock, and a new ebrake! Ive cracked mine from DW..

loving this mate cant wait to see more but it think when i buy a budget drift car its gonna be this side of £1000 lol. FANTASTIC CAR keep up the good work
That rad is fooooking huge lol
Looks good dude. You're worried about cooling so you by a massive rad. Fair enough. you then put a massive intercooler in front of it? Surely it would have been more beneficial if you made a V mount set up. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for the repies guys!
Well, the budget went to hell.. Spent a good 15k pounds so far.. Latest news is that i broke my third gear, so ive bought a new setup.. M3 gearbox, 2 plate quartermaster clutch, 3" heavy duty driveshaft and abit more goodies..
As we speak im mounting my new DW hubs..
The ic/rad setup works great, aslong as theres no gap between the two, the ic dont matter that much.. I never go over 80 celsius on the water. If i flip on the fans it sinks to 40, no matter how hard i drive..
Check out the teaser for my promo movie, coming out next fall! Ive been so fortunate that a great videographer here in Norway wanted to follow me this year, and make a movie!
Next up is Gatebil! Just have to pull the engine out and sort some oil leaks, mount my new setrab oilcooler and some other stuff..
Thanks again for following my thread guys!
