Steffen Guldager S13 Pro Series Build

    Hi!

Well, decided to buy my self a drift car last year.. After years and years of dresming.. I was kind of reluctant, because I´m stuck in a apprentice job, and making like 13pounds a hour..

So, I had to go beg at my grandmas house(Yeah, not proud of that one, but it had to be done.)

And 2 days later, i had my self a drifter!

Some of you may recognize the car?? I think it was running in England before, by the name of a "Clark", i think?

Anyhow.. I took the car out for a track day, and everything kinda went to shit. Had some electrical problems, turbo came of, and blablabla.. So i latterly crashed the car on my trailer, and drove home..

Bought a new engine the day after.. And so the ball started rolling..

The new engine is a SR20, again.. Figured I´d stay with that at least out 2012.

It´s from a S14a, and contains some CP pistons, eagle rods, HKS cams++

Supplied with 2x044 bosch pumps, and a GT2871R turbo, filled with E85, i´m hoping to get around 400whp. Its optimistic, but maby!

I found out that the car is kinda narrow in the front.. So i chopped off a lot.. Turned out like this.

Still a work in progress there..

Turned out like this. Missing one bar though, i´m waiting for my big ass griffin radiator to show up from summit, before i can make the last crossover bar.

Here with the newly welded IC piping.. Going to change the intake pipe, I thought i was being smart, turns out my design sucked! Oh well, i´m 19, and don´t know the world about building engines and cars..

Here with the stripped front. Doesn't take long to make it look like this! As said, theres a new radiator on its way, i´ll make a new bar when that comes..

Next winter i might change everything to tubes, and slam in a LS-something yankee boat tank engine..

The mechanical skill level/training in places like sweeden/norway far exceeds that of england (have you seen the numpties in the building/mechanical trade here)

Yes unfortunetly i have seen said numpties, infact i have worked with a fair few. When im just an apprentice(just waiting on final results) and im the one who has to go around fixing mistakes made by people who have 10-20 years experience its quiet frustrating lol

But this is off topic slightly i complain enuff at work haha

I can only imagine.. For my sake, it´s helped growing up with a dad thats always been into cars, and i´ve been privileged enough to have access to a 130m2 fully equipped workshop since I've been 12..

Got this package today! Inside was a tiny radiator and some fittings and hoses :-)

Well, maby not so tiny.. Has two ten inch fans with a shroud on the back, too.. Propper Griffin quality! The fans are from Spal, and kick ass!

As seen here, it doesnt fit. Cut out alot of the chassi rails here, but i have to cut more, to get it lower down.. More later!

The radiator is abit big, but i said to my self that this bitch shall not boil! good to have something to go on.

Norway has become somewhat of a car heaven really, we're producing alot cool cars now a days!

The radiator can be bought for 550dollars+shipping and taxes.. Comes with spal fans that blows as hell!

The radiator actually stops the bonnet now, but if i shall place it lower i have to remove the front crossmember, and move the tensionrod mounts..

Thats how it ended.. Its a freaking wall of a radiator!

With the ic on again.. Have to move some of the piping doh.. Had to change the inlet on the rad to.. Move it so it would clear the ic piping..

This has been my latest project! It has lcd screens as headlights, with eyes that can be moved by a mouse.. Its also electric, runs by two 24v electric motors.. Can post more if you like?

Mediablasted the valvecover and clearcoated it too.. Looks abit nicer than the crappy paint that was there before!

My fuel system is soon complete.. Just need a return line now!

Been working on the breather system now, everything is being laid out in hardline.

Heres a bonus pic of me in Fredric Aasbo's old BMW. The car belongs too a buddy of mine, but ive recently bought "half" of it!
