done a bit more on the old bus,
sourced some wheels,17x9.5 et25 stuck some 225/45 on the rear and some215/45 on the front to gauge fitment.prob go with a 5mm slip on spacer on the rear.cant beat cars with narrow arches.

picked up a s14a auto breaker to take the engine and associated crap out of

grabbed a gearbox out the corner and a clutch and flywheel from under the bench

gave them both a good clean up and stuck them in the s15 along with an intercooler kit i picked up ages ago

then the ramp broke so i had to spend all my time fixing that.should get somw time next week to hopfully get it running

ive been working on other stuff so not had much time to work on the old barge so have just been collecting parts.

ive got to the stage with it where i couldnt really build it up much more without sorting the bodywork.

i hate doing bodywork.hence me putting it off, hahaha.

ive never really been a fan of the s15 'lightning' bonnet badge and my car never came with one so i welded the hole up

haha bare metal finnish, fuck you body filler.

the boot lid got the same treatment.

prepped the rest of the panels and the shell.

cleaned out the workshop and built a spray booth out of plastic sheeting

chicken'd out and decided to go for frozen white as i sure aint a painter and its suposed to be a forgiving colour.

painted the doors and the front bumper

but got some reactions on the doors so have had to re-prime everything which is a total bummer and cost me loads of time.

i must have cursed myself. as i got some savvage runs on the quarter.should have nominated them for the olympic's

i blocked them out but rubbed through to the primer on the leading edge of the arch and wound up a bit thin on the bodyline.

so i had to do a little blow in.

rolled it out into the sun to de nib and wet flat it as it has a touch of orange peel.

Gaz is very particular about imperfections. I want him to park mine near his while he sprays so I can get precious overspray onto my car. Shouldn't waste the white paint lol Although it'd be a different story if he was painting it black!

ive got a jez stage 1 ecu for it along with the usual fmic, exhaust, elbow, walbro, ajustable actuator. so it should shuffle along nicely whilst not raping me on fuel to much. got the green car for being an idiot in so dont need 2 big bhp cars.

ive got a propper mask so dont breath in toxic fumes and cough like mr KGC. joking aside 2k is pretty deadly stuff so i try to respect it.

Makes sense. Do you have an air fed mask? Might get one when I get home for when I blow over the projects at the unit.

Just remember that they only work if the compressor is away from the spray area. Had one of my guys make that mistake back in the day. Lol
