    WARNING: lots of pictures

Picked this car up back in december. was in pretty rough shape i was mislead on the condition of the car. turns out it has quite a bit of rust underneath everything and a shotty fender pull filled with an inch of bondo and fiberglass.

Not so concerned with the bondo as i planned on overfenders anyways. but the rust has been a time consuming piece to deal with. I cant just fix it half ass either, gotta do it right even tho i could crash it first run out. :D

I have been building my parts list for some time now and have gather'd pretty much everything i need except some of the smaller stuff.

the first phase of my build is getting the car fixed of rust and cage installed .
then get painted and put back together, phase 2 will happen next winter..

the parts list: Driftworks subframe complete with knuckles front and rear
tien tie rod and ends w/offset spacer
    r200 diff cusco 2 way-infinity j30 axles
    Bc racing coils (br's)

    Red top sr20 w/gt2871
    subaru 550 cc injectors
    cosworth 1.1 mm headgasket
    ARP head studs

    version:SELECT type 4 kit
    origin 20 mm front fenders(wings)
    origin 50 mm rears
megan carbon roof spoiler and trunk wing

Have to keep some surprises as im starting the thread after i started the build:)

Thats the jist, now on with the picture of the car when i got it and where it stands now..
i certainly wish i was further than i was cause the weather is beautiful and there are so many nice cars driving around:(

this is how it looked the day i picked it up

Looked like it had been used and abused when you first bought it. Nothing wrong with that :D ..

plans sound good for it. Should keep the wheels that came on it. They look better than the chrome ones in the second last photo ( just my opinion )

definitely used and abused.. well shotty put together. i wish i could use the 15 x 11 ssr's but cant fit anything under an 18" on the geo master knuckles unless you modify them.. i will update when the new wims get here.

bit of an update like i said been itchin to get some time in on the car. and its happening

Tidied up the shop and did a bit of a rearrange ..

started to finish up the stitch welding in the engine bay and get prepped for tubs up front..

felt i was on a roll so i went down to a trailer store and got some trailer fenders..

unbelievable that my tire is only being stopped now by the frame rail.. probably going to shave it a bit

started the mock up of how i was going to fill the void..this is what i came up with

this is how it looks in metal

Im pretty happy with the results now just finish up the other side and engine bay is damn close to primer

    cheers
