My little daily mx5. Very slammed, banded steels, knuckles ect ect

Bought it cheap with a smashed sump and knackered engine. All i have done to it is fitted bucket seat and steering wheel, my banded steels, new engine, hydro wand (needs plumbing in), laguna splitter and i wound on maximum camber and lowered the front down a touch more.

Got given this wing but havent had the courage too fit it. it looks gay as fuck but i quite like it

I recently made some knuckles for it but they need fitting, maybe fitted this afternoon

    wand fitment

No idea how long ill keep it or how much ill do too it. my fourdoor is getting close too being ready and iam buying another rwd nissan soon and i still have my micra

If you fit the wing, It has to be higher than the car, and over the back of the car, otherwise itll be a 100% fail. Fit it.

They are vauxhall steels that have been widened by a lad on retro rides, he did them about 3 years ago, no idea if he is still about

both completed knuckles checked out in the jig

    before knuckles

    after knuckles

started too make some clearance but really need to remove the arms and do it properly

    7mm rack spacers

    2-3mm travel left to go

caliper hits shock body, thisll be a tougher problem to over come

and of course i have tested it I want to get a few more days playing though before i start talking about my opinion of them

Cant decide whether to add a turbo to this car, i already have loads of parts. I have the astra ic, megasquirt ms2 v3 and wideband lambda as can be seen in the pics.

I also have 2 x subaru wrx td04l turbos. So i could use one of them. I would need help fitting and setting up the megasquirt and i would also need to make an exhaust manifold and down pipe.

I wasnt really that into skidding this cars, but since fitting the knuckles yesterday i have for some reason fallen in love with it

This car is no longer being used but i hope to have another one very soon.

as soon as i get one ill be making some more aggressive knuckles, i really really like the knuckles i have already made for this grey roadster and i cant help but think about trying to some more aggressive ones out.

I hated drifting the mx5 before the knuckles but as soon as i fitted them the car felt like it drifted much much better and iam guessing thats down to the trailing wheel scrubbing less and not slowing down the car
