hi, after experimenting last year with the c250td drift car, i decided to spend a bit more time and build a proper one this time. this time i will use a cleaner w202 shell and the 6 cylinder 0m606 from the e300td. this time i will use a m112 eaton supercharger and a hx52 or hx55 turbo, the last effort with the 5 cylinder made 385bhp,(on red diesel) with a standard exhaust manifold that was modified, this was restrictive. Here is some pics of my progress. after a wee look around the yard to see what back end i was going to use, work started. got some hks supra front coilovers with bottom bush, lets sort them out
cheers guys, i haven't had much response on my quick ratio steering thread so maybe i will ask here also. i was wondering has anyone seen these used in a drift car, as i have a steering box i wondered would it help me. 2 to 1 ratio. IIRC D-Mac had a steering quickener on the Saturn Sky he drove in FD USA. He praised it on one of the videos while talking about the car.
hi, here is a video of the first car i used for testing purposes, it run standard 5 cylinder engine, 3.3bar boost. 385bhp/400ft lb. and also at the track
seen the start of this project a few weeks ago when i was up in the yard. Your not wise at all lol. But good luck with it. Looks like a fair bit of work
the holset likes the boost, lol. in a diesel like this, more diesel=more boost, because i don't run a wastegate. if i fitted this turbo with standard injector pump i would only see just over 1 bar boost. engine is standard,
