well I've had this car for a while and to be honest couldn't be arsed to put a thread up I was just being lazy...

well as I have some spare time on my hands Id thought id bore you all with my car thread, and im really sorry but it is really pic heavy and doesn't look amazing either but I drive it daily and love it so here goes...

    enjoy

started life as this a s reg 14..

engine change due to bottom end failure

then after only 28 miles of driving off boost my bottom end went again, as you probably could tell I was mega pissed!!
so I thought id get rid and my mate brought it off me for £700 with a tits engine..

    then it went to this

then after chatting to him for a while I decided that what I was going to do was just pay him for what he had already done and a little extra which came to about £2100 I think and I got it back home again this time with a working engine and no problems..

I then done this to it..

well I loved it for a while but I really wanted the rear wheels to be a bit wider..

so I decided to put some spacers on there but for some reason I went all out an dbrought some massive 40mm spacers and some over fenders

and then I enjoyed it for a while and loved driving it everywhere with no problems....
I then got offered a very cheap deal..RB25DET conversion for £1400 that inc subframe, gearbox, clutch, engine, turbo, wiring loom, ecu and down pipe aswell, well I couldn't say no..

well I loved it even more, the roar of a straight six was amazing...

I went to my mate again to see if he could sort some of my rust issues out, but when he was trying to find a clean bit of metal to weld to, the hole just got bigger and bigger, so I decided it would be better to shell swap, so I found a non rolling MINT (so I was told) shell for £350 in red...

    and yes they are genuine..

so the shell swap started a couple of days later..

and this is what it looked like after a while...

I managed to get some Gucci stuff from someone breaking there car aswell just in time for Christmas..

I then went about just rattle canning the body work due to having no time and no money to save and spend on a proper respray..

then got my overfenders and skirts on

I then thought it was a great idea to buy some 16x9 steelies for my car...

I then was driving down a road and some how managed to smasg but rear bumper in half, break a rear light and snap my exhaust all on a drain cover..

    and that's it for now

    read and enjoy lol!!!.......

No the arches were cut back quite a bit but the 17s were still touching the overfenders

You can get them off ebay for about £230 a set. They are off-road wheels though so weigh an absolute ton!

    16 x 8 BLACK D MOD RIMS For JEEP WJ GRAND CHEROKEE 5.127 (5 ON 5) PCD 4x4s | eBay

I think they're about 20kgs a corner from what I remember, it was 18months ago when I contacted this guy about some for my MG. I decided not to bother!
