    March 11 2012, the day my life got worse. Bought myself a perfectly presentable E36 328i Sport. Very clean example, done just over 100k, with a real nice spec and almost spotless inside and out, quick spec list here;

    1997 328i Sport,
    Eibach Pro coilovers,
    M50 inlet manifold,
    US spec M3 cams,
    M3 Sunflower 17" wheels.

    Here's a photo showing that it is infact a car;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Drove it around for a while and realised that nice smooth leather is absolutely no fun when you want to drive fast, what's a brother to do?

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Realised I didn't like the wheels, so bought these rather sporty blue numbers;

    [IMG]

    Ofcourse the current rubber wasn't suitable for road use, so got some black ones on there;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    At that point I also added lowness, which was fun as I was working down a shitty little road at the time;

    [IMG]

    At the same time as messing with this, I was breaking my old hurrendously unreliable fiesta turbo for parts;

    [IMG]

    Here's a photo with a french car in bits in the background;

    [IMG]

    Then I heard about all the cool kids having welded diffs

    [IMG]

    So I did a change;

    [IMG]

    Checked it worked;

    [IMG]

    Realised my brakes sucked large penis, so fitted big ones;

    [IMG]

    Wanted more lock, so I drank some weak french beer;

    [IMG]

    Worn some tyres out;

    [IMG]

    I struggle with hill starts, so I fitted a hydraulic handbrake;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Fitted it sneaky sneaky because every day car etc;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Got stuck in the snow alot;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Cut something;

    [IMG]

    Did a crash;

    [IMG]

    Did a fix;

    Did another crash;

    [IMG]

    Did a more manly fix;

    [IMG]

    Put nicer wheels on;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Realised Jesus was my airbag;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Went to oulton park and did skids, had the best day ever;

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Got stuck in a field with another BMW.

    [IMG]

    Realised I was going to get into trouble, I bought a sensible (!!) daily;

    [IMG]

    Which broke almost immediately;

    [IMG]

    First step of de-everyday-ing the 328;

    [IMG]

    Plan is to make the 7 series badass (in progress currently) make the 328 yobbish, tow it with the 740, win at life.

    Fanks.

    Perfect daily and a great drift car, looks like you've had a lot of fun. At Oulton park do they use the same little track they use for the rally cars by the bridge over the main track for drifting?

    Haha cheers for the comments, engine will be staying as-is unfortunately! I've got a 3.2 evo diff and subframe to go in, so will go better with shorter gears :) Not sure about the drift tracks, it's the two on the right after you go over the bridge mate, really recommend the day though, not the cheapest but used absolutely 0 rubber and not alot of fuel!

    "Realised Jesus was my airbag" ... I was crying at this, possibly the best way of stating that you've fitted a new wheel!

    I usually read through project threads without any reaction. But the "Did another crash" bit made me laugh out loud for some reason.

    I like this thread.
