It's not the best looker inside or out.

The Wheels had to go. The brakes and exhaust also were shot.

Light internals need beefing up for any serious power mods. But yeah I'm happy with the power for now at the price.

Just get at pod with the auto. I stayed auto for ages, makes for good drifts still.

Will be at pod in a few weeks to break in the new tyres.

Break in the new tires.. Or mash the new tires within 4 laps? Lol:wack:

I'd take £100 delivered for the diff. Is from a gs300, let me check they are the same before I sell it to you:thumbs: (Edit, yes they are the same)

And good work to stick weld an exhaust together.. My Arc would have blown massive holes in it.. I usually mig exhaust unless the customer wants to pay me for hrs of Tig'ing..

And yeah, as McBob says.. Auto is still good to skid.. It'll teach you a lot to skid an auto and you'll learn techniques to keep it sideways with balance rather than relying on clutch kicks.. Just keep it in L and 2 for pod, should be good, doubt you'll need 3..
What is particularly tricky in a GS is that you have no handbrake as well as no clutch.. No handbrake is not a problem when it comes to initiate, but I always find it useful when slowing down to go into the tight slower bit. Trying to slow a massive great GS down off the big back corner is tough.

Was playing around with the idea of using the GS as a power plant doner for my other project WRX.
RWD conversion with manual of course.

Major undertaking but not like it hasn't been done before.
Maybe a plan for next year.
