Here we go with the a new JZX project, some may of seen my old JZX100 Chaser:

    IMAG0021_zpsczlc02j7.

I'd always wanted a 100 mkii and that had niggled at me whilst owning the Chaser, once I'd thought about it I had to do something. I soon started looking at 110's after realizing how popular the 100's had started to become here in the U.K and the decision was made. So here we are, took delivery of this fresh import from Ireland at 3am Monday morning..

    IMAG0126_zpsnrcs61f3.

    IMAG0127_zpsclpge9ty.

    In Japan

    5_zps49007a0d.

Had a chance to quickly test one of my Minerva's on, seems a lot more room to play with than the 100's.

    IMAG0122_zpsxwzturhn.

Quick spec that I've found so far:

    BN Type ii aero
    CST coilovers
    Custom exhaust
    Trust FMIC and pipe kit
    Trust radiator
Recaro seat (like sitting up in the fucking Alps!)
    Gay steering wheel (will burn)

    I expect there's more but I haven't had a good look yet.

I have these on a slow boat for it:

    18x9 +24 SL

    redstinger49-img600x450-1402216228ag2cai17330_zps3ed186b1.

    19x10 +11 SL

    redstinger49-img600x450-1402216376iju2rk13768_zps128ae88d.

Also ordered a proper grille as I hate these ones.

Looking forward to having it road registered asap and getting some use from it.

I couldn't bear driving it with the seat so high so whipped it off today and got my fabricator to take 2" off the legs, sits perfect now.

Set about lowering the rear end down too, I've wound them as low as possible but will need a good bit of droop to get where I want. I'll also need to look at the rear bumper mounts though because the tyres hitting it now.

    IMAG0142_zpsmml6gf7e.

It would also seem that the Minervas, sat at 10j +19 here are too weak and also look tiny...this is good news. I think the 19's are going to be perfect.

I have noticed it's getting quite hot so that needs looking at pronto, I'm hoping it's just air. Also need to sort the fogs out as they don't work and need to get the TRC permanently turned off.

There's a switch on the driver side of the Aircon fan, disconnect that and it'll run the Aircon fan on when the ignition is on. Which will aid for cooling for the time being.

Im not sure those lights were used as fog lights as such.. I think they were sidelights or something?

Jealous man, Love me a 110.

Very nice man, think I saw this on Facebook. Titan auto works bring it in? Can't remember.

I defo get what you're saying about the 100 getting more common. Never seen one before until a couple of years ago and now they are everywhere! That's why I went for a z20 soarer in the end

Park lights come on when the indicators are on like Mint said... Actual Park lights are in the headlights just above the indicators.. I just switched the wiring behind them and that sorted it.

Looking forward to the build bro.

It's not going anywhere yet man so trying to solve it permanently but thanks!

Thanks man. Carpo bought it over and that's all I Know.

    All in good time man.

Thanks mate, need to use them as fogs for MOT (road worthy test) purposes.

As much as I'd love that I need to get something that I don't mind chopping up for clearance.

Swapped out the old thermostat today in an attempt to cure this overheating. This did not work. Ordered a new rad cap to try that next.

Pulled it into the work unit to start looking at the arches/bumper

Cutting was the only way forward

Bumper was cut as well so should have plenty of room now, at least until the 19's get here.

I've established that the "custom" exhaust I was told it had is utter shite. Hangs too low at the rear so I'm gonna pick a new one up asap and modify that to sit how I want.

So the car failed MOT last week beacuase of lambda reading and rear fog (was worth a shot), used the excuse to drive it home though.

Got some time to pull the orange inserts from the headlights and few other shitty little bits

    Much bettaaaa

Rigged up a lovely makeshift fog and sorted a slight exhaust leak this morning and the car passed MOT (with zero advisories). Pretty happy now because I can now get it reg'd and put to use.

Also have the 18x9 Minerva's coming by air so hopefully I'll see those before long.

Ta man. Still waiting on the new rad cap but I'm starting to think the gauge is dodgy, there's clearly been a water temp gauge fitted at some stage. It goes to just under 2/3 of the way up and just sits there. I'll invest in a set of gauges asap to check it out.

Haven't really had much time/money for this recently with efforts going elsewhere. Car is road legal though and I have the front Minervas on.

Unfortunately it's still overheating after changing thermostat and rad cap so I think it's new pump time.

Absolutely sick car. Seen it for sale when it was for sale here in Ireland. Not too many over here.
