You will have to get yourself canopy save waiting for the weather to get better with the winter coming.
When will we be seeing more pics of the XR4I?

Thats the bollocks. Will be like a reliable cossie. Top marks lads. I toyed with this idea a while ago but fagged out as its so much easier to bolt into an S13 and get drift specific bolt on suspension shit etc. Although I'm told Kaaz now do a diff for the sierra 7" diff, (listed as caterham/westfield) and coilovers are probably available from spax or somewhere like that, so 'D1 sierras' are no longer a joking matter!

Only issues would strive to sort to make it as competetive as any JDM chassis are A] Crappy front suspension design (can be sorted using group.A components or homemade tension rods and brackets) B] lack of rear anti roll bar (cosworth items or bodge something up)

A group A rear beam/trailing arms exist although that would help the rear trailing arm camber issues but like all the grp.A kit its a bastard to find, perhaps eGay once in a blue moon. Depends how competeive you need the car to be tho, D1 or just a drift day funster.

Thanks for your input. Found some front strut braces in a mag and using 4x4 rear end to sort out anti roll bar, will try rose jointed rear trailing arms to sort out tow-in & camber problems on rear.

Hi guys sorry I have not updating this project but I have been a bit busy moving units to store the car.
have been having a lot of problems getting it started, think the problem lies with the nats system, there is a guy coming from Nissan 2moro to have a look and see if he can start it lets hope so.
Here are some pics of what I have done and what iv got new to go on.

I have still got my redtop 16v for sale that I was going to put in if you’re interested?
jenvey throttle bodies will sound a lot better then 45 and give you better power my dad has got this fitted on his Westfield, only problem is you need to update your ECU and loom, if you was looking at doing this a DTA E48 ECU is very good but cost about £600+ you can get some good deals on eBay its just waiting tho.

Will get you some pic soon, took one 2day but the cars in bits at the minute.

Got hold of a sierra 4x4 some weeks ago, have striped it down to day for the rear end, front brakes and other bits for spears.

Sweet project and the work looks top notch. Wish I could find another Sierra in as good condition as that lil' beaut'. Good luck.
