Looking tidy m8.
The Saff cossie boot spoiler looks better on the hatch its bigger than the hatch type. Fitted one to mine. But it needs to be spaced off the lid as it will catch the rear edge of the wing.

not done much to the car since it was painted, fitted a stacks AFR meter and fitted some new raceteck oil temp & pressure gauges as the old ones from autodials.co.uk are s**t oil temp never worked oil pressure gauge blew up (internals) and water temp lights went, this was all before i took the car out for its first test down the road.

mate of mine was selling a set of 15` escort rims with tyres for £50 so i bought them just to tide me over till i can aford to get some new rims, did not think they were going to look right on the car and i have to say i think they look good,

have also tided the engine bay up

went to DWYB at santa pod last week for my first drifting day, car handled really well, need to weight the back end down a bit as its to light and find a way to get more lock, so will be working on that soon as i plan to go to DWYB on the 8th october

Good to see you got it on track.
As for the more lock issue. I have done a lot of checking into it. The mk3 granada has the most rack movement lock to lock.
But on my last time out i had added more camber to the front. Extended the TCA's by about 3/4" this has had the effect of increasing the grip inside outside front, causing the car to gain more angle.

Not a lot. All the Sierra and Granada rack are almost the same. Granadas have the most, 2wd cossies have the least.
The lock is reduced by the size of the end seal block. I have been doing some mods to a 2wd cossie rack and have got more lock than the granada one, but it involves cutting the seal block. As the rack is a safety item i didn't want to go saying this is how to do it.

not sure what rack iv got fitted in mine as its a re-conned rack i got when i started the build, am going to be adding 10mm spacers to the front wheels as the mine problem is the wheels are hitting the chassis running on 15/195/50. Im also hopping this mite help with the under steer problem iv got.
what camber setting have you got rob?

havn't measured the camber at the front of mine yet, going TDI for a club day though soon for a RR and chasis setup day soon, i'll let you know what they say. As for spacers, I got EsCos Wheels on mine at the front 16 8j running 215/40 with 10 mm spacers and on full lock they just touch the compression struts.

Not sure on the camber, but its a lot. The front is 1 1/2" wider in track now. The wheels no longer touch the chassis either with the standard Saff cossie wheels and 195/50/15 tyres.
Going to fit compression struts and a Scorpio front mount ARB, as the extra camber has caused the wheels to move back as the ARB has got pushed wider.

or you can drill:

that 20mm gives you more than 10 degrees plus of angle. 45-46 instead of the stock 35 (cossie 30) scorpio/granada TCA and steering arms, peugeot 7x15 ET 13 wheels and not touching the chassis. bigger wheels means wider body.
see our drift sierra:

sorry about the size of the picture above, cannot find smaller
