I've bought this today and I don't like buying cars already half built but I built this car for a customer, Its only a road car at the moment, I installed my 328i engine into it for him to look factory done, its very nice little spec. The wheels that it runs are off at the moment as I'm going to refurbish them so I've just tossed some wheels with good tyres on, I have a full set of Style 5 rims with wider rears to go on :D

The spec of the car is as follows.

    Originally a 318ti.
    Helrot Red,
    Z3 Steering rack
    Coilovers
mint 328i engine with lots of new bits
    M3 SD5 310Z gearbox w/Transmax Z oil
    4.4 LSD (small casing)
    M3 Evo Manifolds,
M3 Evo Cat section and back box, back box is cut down.
    M3 46 brakes front
    Stock disc set up rear
    Black interior with sports seats
    M3 Evo Clocks
    M3 Genuine mirrors
    Quife gear knob
    bmw number plate removal panel
    Genuine Fake BMW motorsport rims.

There is loads more that I can't think of.. As you can see its not a typical drift shitter, its actually a nice daily. I'm either going to sell it as it is.... OR HSD, STYLE 5, and some savage lock and time for some skid skids :D

Step one was to fit the Rieger Front splitter, and put an EVO steering wheel on the car as the old style one is ridiculous..

Won't that front number plate placement restrict air flow to the radiator?

There's mouldings behind the front bumper/grille panel that direct air from the kidney grilles to the radiator, the peice of trim covers the hole front of the radiator so that massive hole in the bumper does nothing.

That's the best way I can explain it anyway.

That's as long as the original mouldings/trims are still there.

The lower grille was open to the rad in my 328 and every other one I've seen. Non ac models might be as you described. Anyway this car has been sold already.

Oh ye sorry I forgot about A/C rads. A/C rads still have the bit of plastic/moulding that directs air from the kidney grilles to the rad, but ye you get a bit of extra length on the A/C rads allowing the lower grille to act as a vent too.

Shame it sold, looked like a nice car, would of liked to see more of the build thread.

Classic case of like the car too much and i dont do things by halfs, so would be loads of money spent and i want more tools for Doritech so it came down to just being sensible.

The number plate is in silly location but wouldny make it over heat just because its just a road car and you would be supprised how much you can get away with not having a fan lol
