Hello, here is my ride, a Bmw 323ti (e36) i bought last year. My goal was to build, with a superlow budget, a solid and fun car, to drift in kart/motatd tracks or at exhibitions held in empy service places, so i don't need too much power. Engine is stock, except for Bmc sport air filtet. I took away some weight (e.g. clima, radio, rear seats..), changed coilovers and air filter, welded the diff, mounted an hydro brake, some stickers and that's all.. for now. I'll probably swap to a 2800 engine if i fimd a cheap one. Last week i did my first laps (on a very small and busy wet track) with it, going to do a more serious test on dry surface in a couple of weeks.

Looks good so far, not a fan of the stickers but hey.

How are you getting on with it? Currently looking for a cheap no frills drifter and have been debating a compact...

I think it's an ideal choice, low price and big affidability!
If you buy the 323 you get the 6cyl 2.5l engine, which is more than enought. You will definetly want a hydro brake cause.the stock one is a pain in the ass!
