| hope to drift soon | well i hope to have a good day on the s13 and start playing with the vems today but this was not that day. as me and my dad got on with finishing the engine off we started to fit the turbo and manifold to then find the last stud pulled out we had to strip it back down and take the head off to drill and retap it so today from 2 till 8 is how long it took us to fit the turbo.a better pic of in the car ![]() the turbo and manifold finaly on ![]() damo |

| hope to drift soon | had an hour on the sx again today as im working tonight got the intercooler pipe work sorted. not much left now and so will try to do some body work tomorrowto do pipe work for fuel rail turbo to airfilter pipe work make a throttle cable sort a wire for the tacho fit bonnet vent and paint weld up boot from old spoiler then paint/fit new cf spoiler get tyre fitted to the works rims roll rear archers de-graphic car get a map onto the vems so i can drive to get alarm fitted and then get down to hd for a proper map man i've still got a lot to do realy ![]() ![]() damo |

| hope to drift soon | sunday me and my dad got on with welding/filling the boot. after which i have a little play with the vems/test things work. after an hour and 1 flat battery i gave up and came home to chat to phatbob..... ![]() ![]() so on monday about dinner time i got the missis down to sit in the drivers seat/turn over as i changed a few setting and had 2hours trying to get the engine to start of which i got it to fire up but no idle at all after yet more talks with phatbob about injector settings!!! ![]() ![]() the missis looking a little sleepy bless her x came down to help me on the s13 even tho she had been at work all night!!! thanks sweetie today i got down and started again from the top with the basic check for fuel. yep check for spark only 3 out of 4! (DOH!) i have killed a coil driver some how phone call to phatbob wiring changed to new driver then the right ingition and injector firing order (DOH!) inputted............. yes at last she fire and idled for about 25secounds at a time few more setting change and she now idle a little high and loud due to a hole in the exhust were the ego sensor needs to go but she idles sorry but the camphone had to be used and i know :ghey: vems :Plug: ![]() damo Last edited by damo_s13 : 21-03-2007 at 00:53. |

| hope to drift soon | well it starts up very nicely from cold now cant wait to start diving the s13 its MOT time tomorrow at 930 so will see how i get on. time to start ringing round the insurance companys next....Got a few things done over the weekend not much as had to work sat night started sanding down the boot i got my drifty hand brake fitted properly ![]() front bumper on (note dad sanding boot thanks dad ![]() and here is a few pics on the engine bay ![]() ![]() im trying to think of a new graphic desgin at min..... anyone got any ideas??? thanks damo |

| hope to drift soon | To tell the truth im going to book it in with h-dev for a proper map with some proper boost. but im trying to do some of the low load stuff myself (mainly so i can run the engine in a little) which is not to hard (im doing kinda ok ) so far with a little help from bob i/we have got it up and running off the key from cold and idling ok. then sorted it out to rev a little and then on to driving at which i got to and back from the mot. this is were im at now as im waiting for insurance doc to come so i can get it taxed and play some moredamo |

| hope to drift soon | massive update. some may know some may not but i sold the ca after find the thrust face had started to go so what did i do next well sold more stuff off the s13.................. gauges, vems etc ![]() i then got my self an sr redtop gearbox the lot from nick the doctors old s13 and an hks fan controller SR20DET with HKS Pistons HKS Cams HKS headgasket Gearbox Rocker stoppers HKS GT-SS Turbo kit HKS Stainless Manifold Really nice really nosiey exhaust with SARD Cat so its all in now and im just waiting on 3 hoses to turn up for the water pipe work and intercooler and then im ready to rock. im booked in with h-dec on the 31st for mapping of the safc 2 and then the 1st im getting the diff welded ![]() pictures to come |

| hope to drift soon | well after a few small problems i got the car down to h-dev to see jez for mapping. turned up late dude to traffic I am so happy it runs so sweet now... Jez service is fantastic what a great bloke after spending about 30min sorting abit of wiring and the fuel presure for me. thanks again jez. the mapping once jez had got his gear installed onto the car for mapping off we went.... jez did the WOT stuff 1st after just a few runs the s13 was feeling alot better mid rev range and it was pulling stronge on the way down the s13 was a bit of a pig to drive very jerky and what sounded like missing on part throtle at times... all this has now gone it feels competely different alot easer to dive now. i cound not recomend jez / h - dev anuff my sr its not the fastest by for but im running stock injectors etc and only running 0.8bar of boost but dam im loving it! pulls from low down in the revs its great to beable to drive it again so tomorrows jobs before traxs... welding to do under the car make a bracket to hold the rad in place ducting for intercooler rad behind bonnet fitting of apex coilovers 8/6 springs give the car a clean... (its very very well and truely needed) and if i get time weld the diff damo |
