my s13 vems powered

well decided to start a thread about my s13 its norris desgins old shell i got form braba

so my s13 is going a bit more drifty now but will still have silly power i think

so far i got hold of/done

VEMS ecu still doing wiring for this to be fitted. It is getting there tho as seen in pic. this is the wiring for hole car!



Had my head cleaned, ported and new stem seals fitted



Had my crank polished and balanced



Fitted some new bushers and white line arbs



heat wraped my manifold



Got my self a new inlet manifold. Pic is of my new manifold on old onwers car. thanks buffy (sxoc)



Fitted a new fuel pump as old one was getting very load and on its way out



think thats about it for now

be about 8week before it back on the road

Damo, good to see some more pics of the project, it will be the first VEMS controlled CA18's

yeah i've looked at that but will use the stock stuff to start with i think.

thats buffys old engine from sxoc

got the inletmanifold here now very nice

Its easy to change the coil types later.

Whats the inside of the manifold like?

inside its big lol what info you after? i can see each inlet to block goes about 10mm inside into the manifold

quick update on my s13. old engine/box plus lots of old wiring now out cleaning the engine bay up tomorrow and start to fit the new wiring i've got/started to do for the vems. will get some pic's.

Also i have got new rims on the way from al's junk yard


there 17" Work RYVER. 2x 17"x8" ET35 for front and 2x 17"x9" ET38 for the rear

well started on the engine bay cleaning today but allso go a quick look at my engine block with the pistion in


anyway back to the engine bay, dirty


clearner



then started on the wiring, its a mess lol




will carry on with it tomorrow

im losing my unit so my project is now called get running asap be on road by end of jan only 300hp (ish) @ whhels tho due to only using a case treated rb20/ca18 combo gearbox lol

on a good note got my self some raod legal slicks for a little grip work later in year. i love ebay!!!

Yokohama tyres Advans 235/45/17

i've also got new bling i/c pipe work an a new oilpump on the way from apex performance. a big gay carbon spoiler (1550mm wide) and canrads to help with downfoce/turn in now i dont have as much power lol

i've also binning my graphic so will just be the writing down the side and a few sticks.... driftworks/sc to be added

well got an email saying my 256 tommi poncams will be with me on the 2nd on jan also my injectors are on there way got to love ebay



534cc sard injectors (new in the box) should see me over 300hp @ wheels for only £160 inc del

and fitted a new Stainless steering bush from driftworks.

today i had a good day on the s13

i got loads done realy...

i did have 2 Corbeau boss seat mounted using stock frames that were customised. this rased you up about 1/2 inch plus i needed an fia approved seat if i ever want to compete so i riped them both out today as i got my self some more goodies

i fited the drivers side seat in the passager with a proper frame from corbra had to drill 2 holes but it fitted fine lower that the old ones too



with the drivers seat now out of the way i started on the wiring under the dash



all done

yey its getting closer not to much left now
