| touge runner | Thanks I just fitted the IC to fit it lol Seriously, I fitted it now because I didn't have any other work to do at this time (I was there on Wednesday, I received the crane on Friday, and I left on Sunday morning). It's not our primary house, We live in Paris and this second house is at 50km from Paris. No, I'm not driving it Just to test new parts installed like the e-01 or HKS Hypermax Coilovers Thanks sideways.taff I think the engine will be out before my summer holidays (on July), but I'm not sure ![]() |

| I think you have to take the sump off the engine, if its like the S13's CA18DET there are numbers stamped on the con rod and main caps, and on the block so you can work out the bearing grade. I cant remember with the SR20DET though, as they dont need bearings all the time! ![]() Its coming along nicely, are you planning on bodywork/wheels at all or are you going to keep it looking standard on the outside as I hear the french police will give you a hard time if you have a modified car? | touge runner | Yes, the French police (all gayzzz lol) doesn't like modified cars, especially modified engines!!! I posted this question because my friend who's got a Z32 twin TD05-18G and same conrods than me (Eagle), thought that he's got new conrods so he have to buy new bearings grade 0. At the first run, boum... no more crank... So, I'm affraid for mine lol I heard the same than you (about numbers stamped on the crank and the bloc), but I have new conrods and there is nothing stamped on them... Maybe a guy from this forum changed his conrods and bearings ????????? And the body and wheels and all that pretty stuff will arrive as soon as the engine and the chassis will be finished ;-) |
