Mad props. I'm always amazed at someone who can do their own work to their car.

I really don't know anything about the insides, but I'm slowly learning! =D

Good news is, you don't need to know how it works to drive it insanely, I smellahhaha.

Today I went to Nissan for my parts, but the OEM circlips were already here ... It's nothing, it wil help me wherever else Nissan f***cked me!!! They sell main bearings as a pair, but con rod bearings as ONE PIECE!!!!!!!! So I had to order 4 more And they are the same as Nismo ones, but only con rod bearings, main Nismo and Nissan bearings are not the same!!!

A little begining of the rebuild :

OEM Main Bearings OUT

And new ones

A little shiny paint

Mains

The crankshaft in

I just have to do a "plastiguage" (I don't know how it means in english lol) to be sure of bearing grades But it would be OK, there are the same as OEM ones

Next : GReddy stage 2 264° cams, HKS GT2835 turbo, braided lines for it, SS manifold and few other bits

Got a little head work done (polishing was done only on the exhaust side) :

Almost finished, just to clean it up a little :

Tomei (pink ) cam sprocket (only for the exhaust camshaft, I'll keep the NVCS on the intake )

And some other stuff :

Braided turbo lines :

Z32 Bosch Fuel Filter (GIANT )

GReddy radiator cap (the good one this time) and a recirculation fitting for my HKS SSQV :

And the Energy Master Bushing Kit (poly bushes for all the suspension arms) :

Now, I juste have to find some time to work on it I have a week in March, so maybe I'll do something

Some news... not very good to read… Thanks to the last owner...

So, I found these great things in my engine block!!! :

- 2 shims (1 in a head’s corner and 1 in the oil pan…) ;

- 1 guide in the OIL PUMP… dead… ;

Oil strainer also dead …

So, like always, I’m so so lucky... But I’m glad I'm rebuilding her, if I drove her few km more… The engine would be definitely dead…

Now, the rebuild!!!

1st piston

2nd piston

Both last

Screwed at torque, play was checked etc etc…

Rear oil seal

Hummmmm, so beautiful when it’s new and forged!

Non-ended head

Because with my first valve remover, that wasn’t very easy…

Now with the facelifted second generation valve remover… It’s a way easier

So, that’s all for the moment. Now : I have to order last bits (like the oil strainer, some more poly bushes, turbo, manifold etc), rebuild everything and start that fu***g b**ch

Thanks a lot Sea Squirrel

This week end (on Saturday), I went to visit a school for my studies... So I didn't had any time to work on the engine... But but but, I assembled it just to see how is it look like when it's "finished"

I think it begins to look like a real engine
