Not a major update, but an update none the less,

With the continued help from Gaz Moose, Jimthejunior and Mattyboi and using the ramp/space at Hart Motors (Leics) a little bit more has been done to the taxi.

I blew an oil seal on one of the ceramic (ewwwwwww) turbo's at the pod, and as i had a spare RB26 with steel R33GTR turbo's on, they were soon robbed for the other engine.

After they were taken off, Mickey (ZworX) popped over to inspect the condition of them for me, he said they could benefit from a refurb but are good to go. But i'm hoping that some kind sole see's this and sponsors the refurbishment for good size stickerage on my car

Anyway, back over at Hart Motors, Jim and Gaz had a good old bash.............at taking the sound deadening out, TBH it's a job i really don't like doing, but Jim enjoyed himself smashing it out in my car all afternoon.....

Onto taking the engine out, no real story here, we undid bolts, pipes and electrical stuff and then attached chains to a engine crane and the engine was out.......Magic!!

Matt taking some pipes off, wooooooooo.....

Moose checking that Matt was doing the right pipes, haha........

Whilst the engine is out, we lobbed the sump off to check the big ends and mains, they were all good, apart from a little bit of scoring on one of the mains, so a set of ACL race bearings and shells were ordered.

I put the moose spec RWD converted sump on to stop lots of dust n'stuff getting in the bits that it shouldn't get into LOL.......

What a lovely fit

Turbo's (Again), but on the other engine, well as said earlier, one pooped itself, now, just looking at them, can you tell which it is.......

HAHA, the front (clean) turbo has absolute minimal play side to side, none in/out, but the rear, is like a tea spoon in a pudding bowl and i'd be rich if i sold all the oil that was held within it's depths haha!

Only other update is the kind people at gave me this old bit of smashed up unwanted fibreglass.......

Gummed together in a 'Mitto style' with tape and URAS FIA spec aero cardboard, ready for the 1st stage of repair.

Lastly, once again, MASSIVE thanks to.....

Gaz Moose, Jim, Matty, Hart Motors, ZworX and EP Racing for supplying me with some quality parts.

Hopefully the next update will be tubbys swopped, engine in and car running again

Til next time

LMAO, just seen that!

Not really an update, but both turbo's now off the engine, so started to clean up a few bits (no pics). Rocker covers and cam cover will be off tomorrow getting prepped for paint (same colour as car, how quaint)

Anyway, maybe pics tomorrow.

Had a nicely successful day on the taxi today with thanks to gaz_moose, jimthejunior, hart motors and a special guest appearance from GmasterT.

The rear subframe was swopped for a fully solid bushed S13 one, then the hubs were swopped to 5 stud. Lots of the gay 4wd parts were thrown away today, the GT-R subframe (complete, less diff) will be for sale shortly also thrown away was the Hicas pipework from engine bay to rear end and Gaz started to take out the ABS.

Jim took another load of sound deadening out the interior, whilst i started to roll/flare the rear arches.

Unfortunately not many pics as my phone battery died! even the ones I took are pap!

A small selection of the brake lines etc that Gaz removed...

An empty hole....

Gaz and Jim replacing 4 out of 5 tired studs from my GTST (2007 car) 5 stud hubs...

An S13 4 stud hub on a R32GT-R, 1st time for everything i guess.......

Once the S13 subframe was located, it needed a little bit of help to get seated correctly, so, with the Tein Coilovers i had from last years car fitted, this was the ride height.........

With George 'helping' compress the suspension to aid seat the subframe, this was the ride height.......

MIIIIIIIIINT!!

GmasterT, looking into the light and wanting a skyline.........

George now looking confused to why he ever bought an S13....

Thanks again to ALL the guys mentioned above and also to Colin (Hart Motors owner) that made us all a fair sized breakfast in the morning. How many of your sponsors come in at 9:30am on a Sunday do that HAHA!

Of course it is, it'll be done ready for round 1, just a shame i wont be fit

There still is a lot of stuff thats got to be done to the car, but i have 95% of the parts waiting to be fitted, the only major problem is the other 5% of the parts will cost me about £1000 which i haven't got LOL!
