Got some used filters off Mr Smith at Garage-D, they looked like this when i got them......... ![]() Covered them in nitromors........ ![]() After a bit of 400, 1200 wet flat and some autosol.......... ![]() ![]() ![]() Yep, I was bored LOL! Other stuff i've done while the garage where my engine is, is closed for easter........ I've split my rim!! ready to clean them up (BBS 3 piece 8x16 et20ish)......... ![]() ![]() |

| sucks ![]() | Thanks Michael I just need a few more bits and bobs now and then the engine will be finished, there isn't a lot left to do on the chassis as Mr Gaz_Moose is finishing that probably as i type ![]() Then the final part the paint work will be done in 2 weeks! So, as they say.......... Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiint!! ![]() George, thanks for keeping me warm yesterday, you big hunk of love you! BTW, i got waved at on the way home by some random bloke on the M1, i couldn't figure out why until i got home and saw "I love the feel of a man inside" written on the back of my car LMAO!! |

| sucks ![]() | Couple of updates, The sump is off, the crank is out and been sent off for polishing and to be checked out etc. Just waiting on the crank to come back before the ACL race mains and bearings go in!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Finished polishing the cambelt covers whilst waiting for a few things......... ![]() ![]() Onto the bodywork, Mr Gaz Moose popped over to help me roll and flare the rear arches, I'm not going stupidly wide, maybe 1" - 1½" flare, here is a few pics of the rolling happening.... ![]() tubbed rear arches??? LOL......... ![]() With my car having 4dr's (the correct amount, obviously) the point where the arch meets the rear door crease gets tight, so we prepped it ready for the puller (cant remember the proper name for the bit of kit now) ![]() ![]() The front section of the arch is midway from completion in this 2 pics........ ![]() ![]() I chucked a better fit wheel on just to see what it would look like... ![]() Next job was start to fit the EP Racing supplied 'Final Konnexion' bodykit, these pics aren't good as the garage the car is getting built in has poor light at night and I'm using my very old phone, but you get the idea. Better pics will be added soon. ![]() ![]() ![]() and one of the 15mm wider front wings (or fenders if you wanna be JDM) ![]() So far, I'm very happy with the bodywork, although i did forget that the rear bumper/rear ¼ section was so high as most kits for R32's are lower to go with the line of the car. I have to sort out the rear flare now to get a good fitment on the bumper. Tis all good fun ![]() Big thanks to gaz_moose for all the hard graft he's done on my car lately and tomorrow as he is lodging at mine at the mo so we get the car done sooner! EP Racing for suppling a full FK kit, I'll get much better pics very soon guys. Hart Motors, for the use of the garage and generally helping me out when i ask for help!
