ok, after the work this weekend it a sad time. I had all the wiring completed, the New ECU wiring loom was installed and the power was hooked up, the steps were followed and the cars key was started for the first time in a year and what happened???? Nothing! ![]() I cant get it to idle correct so its just a big head scratch at the moment. Im sure it will get sorted but just would of been cool to get it running as I could be at the MOT station! ![]() Anyway some pics (a few only) of the weekends work. sort of finished engine, excuse the dirt and stuff and poor quality of images. ![]() car low! ![]() car low with std steel rims... ![]() then after the depressing times with not getting it running right we set off a smoke flare inside to spareds KE!! ![]() ![]() ![]() hahaha! ![]()

No prob Oli! ![]() my mate , he works for the Railways, and he has these explosives that you place on a track to do brake tess for the trains. They are not powerfull enough to de-rail a train but they blew up a couple of concrete slabs real good! ![]()

Did you follow bobs setup guide? Base timing 10degrees confirmed with timing light? How are your grounds. Did you expose metal on them after the respray? If not they could suck. Fresh petrol or 1yr old scummy stuff still in the tank? Alpha N or Map signal?

Hi. Yeah, fresh Optimax petrol, as tank was flushed out. Good earths all round (new paint scratched back to metal). Base timing still to check when I get a timing light. and I am running Alpha N.

Once your base timing is set, it really is a case of tweaking the maps for your car. Tony was having a revving issues with his car which got sorted quickly when the mystery mapping man did his stuff. | |
